6.5/10The service was strange. We had a reservation. The server sat us down at a table then another server came up and made us get up and wait for another table to be cleared and then sat us down in a corner despite many tables being clean and available. The watermelon gazpacho was nice, as was the ceviche. Both my husband and my beef filets were overcooked - almost well done - and dry. No one came by to check on us or to see if the food was satisfactory or I would have mentioned it. Souffle for dessert - my husbands was cooked perfectly and mine was undercooked like pudding on the inside. This meal should have been spot on as the menu is limited and it wasn't that busy. Did not live up to our expectations.

4.5/10I was excited to have a special dinner here but it was ruined by the service. My waiter was awful. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for a drink and he never returned to the table until it was time to ask about dessert. Save your money and walk outside the hotel for far better options. The worst experience.

9/10Great food! Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, you should try this restaurant. Well executed dishes, service was with a smile (a little room for improvement perhaps) and the bar/dining area had a great vibe.

8/10The food was amazing. The best lamb anything we’ve ever had. The wait staff or bar staff??? was great but we didn’t know who was what. I booked through The Fork to celebrate my wife’s birthday but unfortunately no one was even there to greet us. Also the place is too bright. There’s just no good dining vibe because the bright lights.

10/10The place is super beautiful! The Waitrose they were super nice and polite ! I would definitely recommend the brunch I the restaurant! The food is amazing !

10/10The lights are all indirect and give a cosy atmosphere. Table are far away from each other so one can have our own private area. Cocktail are excellent and well presented. Food is really fresh and well presented inside the plate. Nice evening!

3.5/10The service was absolutely terrible. Once finally seated nobody offered a menu or water, we just sat there and after 10 min I had started looking up other restaurants. Lucky for them it was Monday and my options were limited. Wine list was disappointing with half the bottles not available. Food was incredibly slow coming out and the main, which was part of the set menu of the day lacked flavour, was cold and dry. Probably because they tried to drop it off at two other tables, took it back to the kitchen and then finally figured out it was ours. Not crazy about the atmosphere, the restaurant is set in the bar. Considering the prices, we won’t be back.

10/10Our meal was delicious, and Lea, who was our server, was simply the best! Her recommendations, from my beef filet to my profiteroles, were excellent. I would definitely come back and would recommend L’Alcove to friends.
