This was the best food we have eaten in Almancil. Everything was delicious. A choice of 4 dishes on each of the three courses, all beautiful designed. We were 3 guests so were able to try most of the dishes and everything was wonderful. Fabulous fish in creative plates, wonderful duck and the deserts were amazing. This new young French chef is one to watch and the price is very good. We will be back soon.

A young French couple took over this restaurant 18 months ago. The menu is small but good quality. The restaurant needs to be spruced up especially outside.

+1What a fantastic gem in Almancil! Highly recommend. The menu is small which makes for a fantastic food experience. The plates are beautiful and the food is incredibly tasty and well thought out. The service was spot on. We will definitely be back!

We have been clients of L'Alma for over a year and have never been disappointed. Their lunch menu is excellent value for money and the food and service are first class. Highly recommended!

This is nice place with French cuisine. The menu is short but well balanced. It’s not elevated but rather basic home cooking . All our dishes but raviolo with pleurottes were well prepared. The dough for the raviolo was too thick and the mushrooms taste too weak. Very nice and attentive service. What we have missed its a little bit of a decor and some French accents . Putting it simply the ambiance could be more inviting. In any case a good alternative to the traditional Portuguese fare.

We noticed this new french restaurant had set up in Almancil last year, but didn’t get around to going until yesterday. What a great place! Run by a lovely young couple making their way in the restaurant business, it was a real treat. The French cuisine is exceptional and although they stick to a limited menu they really have got it right. In the low season they concentrate more on lunch service, but dinner was excellent as well. Well worth supporting and wish them every success.

Excellent crafted dishes from the owners themselves. Quality ingredients and skillful preparation. Great attention to details, all the way to making their own bread, their own Foie Gras, and the rest of the menu. Very personable and friendly service and atmosphere. Prices are well worth it. There are not many restaurants in the Algarve with such level of Cuisine and Passion. We highly recommend it!

Omg was amazing ! The food was off the scale ,mouth-wateringly good ! French cuisine at its best ! Such a lovely young couple with so much to offer ! Is a must to visit !

Our second lunchtime visit. The set menu food was excellent. Well cooked and excellent value for money.
