The food was delicious. The only weird thing is that you have to go to the kitchen window to get your pizza when the buzzer goes off.

First of all, I didn’t like high table and high chairs. I felt very uncomfortable. I didn’t appreciate the system of service. It was a bit confusing. We were seven. We had to pick up our four dishes at the beginning. Then when we finished all the dishes, we had to pick up three other dishes. I really didn’t like they served two times instead of serving all those dishes at once.

Perfect service, kept refilling water instantly. Kind, simple, straightforward. Food was good, wanted to try the specific dish had never tried it before

It was my second time at the L'Alsacien and this time was very bad. We arrived without having booked and the room was almost empty, at least 16 seats free and we were four. The lady that greeted us said that they could not receive us because we did not have a reservation. Hence, we made a reservation for 10mins after and the reaction of the same lady us astounding: Ah but you'll have to leave before 22pm because we are going to close (the annouced closing hours is 23h30. I was going with friends and really lost all pleasure in returning.

Visited in the past and had a great experience. This time we had booked the wrong location and were told there was no availability although the place was empty. This time booked the right place seated, dined and everything. Multiple people were turned away and there was plenty of availability. Has turned into more of a fast food feel. Our server was great though. Most had to go get their food but ours was brought to us.

Nice restaurant. Gives real image of 'quisine alsacienne'. Come here, bring time, enjoy food and drinks ... reasonable pricing ... We were 7 people but got served perfectly, but keep in mind that the only dish is 'flammkuechle' ... so that regarding all other guests not all tables can be served the same time. ... Great taste.

Based on the reviews we expected more or a restaurant vibe. It’s a place where you order and pick up your own order when its finished. The food was finished very quickly however drinks and service took quite some time and refills were hard to come by. Food did taste good so recommend that!

My bf and I went during the Fork festival for the promotion, the service was really top notch. Server was very patient and polite with us. Flammekueche was so good that we ordered one more to share! Overall very pleasant experience. Very affordable Alsace wine too, if sweet wine is your jam

They gave us a table right by the toilet. I would not sit at that table again. It smelled stinks.

Really nice "pizzas" (forgive me, they are not pizzas of course) - definitely a nice place for a relatively inexpensive meal of good quality - and something typical of (part of) France!

Don’t let the small interior deceive you, there is a lower floor that was able to fit my large family of 11. It was the first time we tried Flammekueche and it was delicious. The cheese they used was amazing and we ordered the original, mushrooms and duck breast. They were all great. The charcuterie board was also very good. It was a mix of hard and soft cheeses and various meats.

We went in thinking we would each order our own pizza. Pierre suggested we order a couple of items at a time and share so that our food would consistently come out hot as we continued our evening. It changed our focus from ourselves to the group and we were grateful for the suggestion. We had a wonderful time and the food was AMAZING! Don’t sleep on this place. You’ll be missing out. Thank you Pierre and staff for a wonderful experience. Go team Harry Potter!!
