Excellent evening.

the food was amazing!. we were a group of 9 and only booked for 7 but the owner was very nice and arrange more tables for us. The service à bit slow

L'Amazonial was my favorite restaurant in Paris for over 20 years, however, this last visit was disappointing. The service was attentive and friendly...however the food quality was poor. I ordered the duck with mashed potatoes. Sadly, the duck was not edible...terribly overcooked an even hard to cut with the provided serrated knife. That said, the mashed potatoes were incredible (but that's not the part of the meal I hoped would be excellent). My five guests also seemed very so-so about their dishes. If I was dining alone or with my husband, then I would have returned my meal, however, when dining in a group I think it's not the right time to make a fuss as it affects the whole group. I think part of the problem is also the changed atmosphere of the entire Les Halle area....a bit loud and boisterous, lots of shady characters. Perhaps I've just gotten to old for this. I much prefer quainter Marais area for my evening outings. Sadly, will not be returning to L'Amazonial.

Food was delicious and staff very friendly. We ate inside and it was very charming.

The staff are very welcoming, speak English, are friendly, and are very responsive to reservations made in advance. Great food, great suggestions and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Very friendly and professional staff. Quick service and quick to adjust to English when you look like you don't have a clue. The food unfortunately was VERY lacking. Some parts of the lamb shank we had was hard like a rock and the sauce was flat and felt very industrial. The filet mignon de pork was well cooked, sauce was good, but the pasta was overcooked and had ZERO flavor or chew. Great place for a drink to chat the night away, not for a dining experience you'd want to repeat.

Great service and delicious food!

Very slow service and 1 waiter over a million customers with an older gentleman trying to help him but was not enough. Food was alright, nothing special. Ambiance inside is quite weak but terrace outside must have been nicer for those who sat outside

The service is excellent, We ordered linguini instead We got spaguetti and Chicken with champignon sauce (just some drops, not like in photos), chicken was dry. Nothing wow to go back.

New restaurant with nice ambience and very delicious kitchen in St.-Germain district. We liked absotulely all we eated - steak, sea bream, dessert - all was exactly for 10 points. Highly recommend

This restaurant was a great find, the place is super cozy and chill to enjoy a glass of wine, the attendants were very nice, but the food was uninteresting.

We booked a table for a group of 14 of us including children. We were made very welcome and the so were the children. The food was delicious and the prices were good value too. We really wanted to eat in an authentic french restaurant and this fitted the bill perfectly!

Amazing cafe. Very good shrimp risotto and steak frites. Not disappointed in any way!

The lamb was very good, the salmon, too. Very authentic environment. Don't expect perfect athmosphere, but the food is great and the price is very human.

A great night out. Service was friendly and helpful; though it slowed down as the meal went on, that wasn't an issue as we enjoyed the leisurely tempo. Food was good - the lamb shank and burgers were great, the meat special a little less great. Calabrese salad was fantastic, and onion soup great. We would definitely be back for another dinner if we didn't leave tomorrow!
