9/10The food was very good, especially the fois gras terrine. The portions are big. We could have shared the terrine between the 2 of us. The magret canard and l'agneau were very tasty with a good portion. It is a popular restaurant with a good vibe.

2/10AVOID AVOID. A mouse walked on my arm and on my brother's chest while we were eating. If it wasn't horrifying enough, as we stood out from our table, the waiter promptly showed up with the bill, no word of excuses for the mouse. We complained for how inconsiderate that was, so the chef from the kitchen also shouted that mice are in every restaurant, we shouldn't complain. So, beware. This is the standard of this horrible place. Food less than mediocre, cheap champagne and entrecote as hard as cardboard.

10/10Had a delicious dinner with family.. all of our dishes were fantastic.. duck, lamb and sea bass as well as apps- foie gras, escargot and dessert. Don’t hesitate—reserve now!

9/10Very small, quaint atmosphere, good service ( patient with poor French, but also fluent in English). Small, traditional menu but good variety. Food very good, although we thought the duck might have been a shade over done and a bit tough, and hence the drop to 4 stars on food. Nice wine list Price not bad at all. We enjoyed this and would return.

10/10Cozy, casual, and high quality dining at very affordable prices (especially for Paris). Nice menu selections and very friendly and attentive waitresses staff. Excellent duck foie gras, onion soup, and beef bourguignon. Will definitely return next time in Paris. Highly recommend.

9/10Excellent traditional French cooking. Only slight downside is very tight seating, you are right next to your fellow diners. You will need to book, it was full when we were there on a Sunday evening. It might be helpful to some - the waiter speaks excellent English and enjoys a chat.

7.5/10Crowded busy restaurant in tourist area but the food was good, service friendly. Small carafe of bordeaux meh. Big negative was the fault of the fork app which indicates you can use fork pay. Waiter denies ever having it available.

10/10We arrived right on time for our reservation and seated immediately. Greeted with a glass of champagne, I had the prawns wrapped in angel hair pasta with guacamole and a delicious salad, my husband had the crab and shrimp rilletts I’ve a delicious salad., husband absolutely loved it. We both chose the house specialty of 7hr lamb….just finger looking good…topped off with the apple tater with a candle for my husbands birthday….perfect evening!

10/10This is a small but elegant venue that we have visited over many years. One of the several house specialties is their 7-hour lamb. They also have a very tasty white meat chicken on risotto as well as their classic duck. Very French. Well-priced. Always filled, so reservations are a must.

10/10What a perfect night out! The place was cozy and relaxed, and the waiter very friendly, fun and attentive. The food! Oh Lord Almighty, the food! Everything (prawns, lamb, duck) were cooked perfectly and every bite an explosion of taste.. The chef knows how seasoning should be done. Their recommended wine was fresh, fruity and went well with everything. The dessert was out of this world. We shared the pistacio creme brulee and the fruit salad, and both were heavenly! We walked away from L’Ange in a state of bliss, certain to return! Do not miss this place!

10/10This gem of a restaurant presents outstanding French cuisine in a warm and friendly setting. The chef and staff are excellent and helpful and the food presentation is flawless. Best meal we had in nine days in Paris. Highly recommended.

7/10Conflicted about this review, last time, 9/19, I gave it a 10! But that was pre pandemic and things have changed. Food still good, and choices and general ambiance. But ambiance obviously effected by careless service. Started out great, but then waited seemed to get overwhelmed with other tables. Finished main corse and waited and waited while he whizzed by. Next table had barely started their meals when I finished and also done by the time he came to clear tables. Then another long wait before he came back again to ask about dessert. I was planning on the pistachio crème brûlée but after being ignored all that time just asked for check. Then waited again and had to ask 3 times, finally went up to bar to pay. Yes it was Saturday nite and busy but that is to be expected, and should take care of reserved customers dining before moving tables for later walk ins. Was seated by the window so was aware of all. Got a pistachio Amarino cone for dessert!

5/10We dined here primarily because it was one of the few top 400 restaurants open on Sunday, although it had good Trip Advisor reviews. While the crab and shrimp rillettes appetizer was good, the lamb fondant – the “specialty” – was somewhat bland, too dry and disappointing. My wife didn’t like the pan-fried cod. The atmosphere was friendly although our server was somewhat inattentive. Perhaps it was an off-night, but we won’t consider it again.
