It is a quite touristy place, mains were not bad given the price, but not great neither. Got foie gras as an entry, that one was nice though.

The food was satisfactory except for the rump steak which was tough to chew. I was able to break it down by cutting it in small slices but my girlfriend could not chew it to a point of swallowing it and so it went in the napkin. The restaurant is nice inside but you will have the larger waiter bumping into the back of the chair as he passes each time as his girth was wider than the passageway between the back of the customers’ chairs. Nice and secluded area to dine. I would recommend sitting outside perhaps.

Set menu choices very good. We decided to pay the supplement for the fois gras and it was worth every cent…delicious. Beef cheek followed with silky smooth sweet potato purée. Meat was delicious and exceptionally tender. Really good value.

While vacationing in France, my family and I wanted to experience high-end French cuisine. Despite having a French dinner the night before, I searched for top nearby restaurants. Most were very expensive, over 100€ per person. Then I found L'Annexe. The online photos and excellent reviews were impressive, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Skeptical but hopeful, we made a reservation 40 minutes in advance, walked there in 8 minutes, and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. L'Annexe is a family-friendly French restaurant offering high-value food and service. The food quality and beautiful presentation were top-notch. The welcoming staff and excellent prices enhanced our experience. Highly recommend it. This is one of the best experiences my family and I have had in Paris so far.

Incredibly good food. Unfortunately we have discovered this restaurant only on our last day here in Paris. Though I like to discover new things, this is a place where I would go over and over again. It is very traditional french kitchen - we had foie gras, filled ballpeppers, roasted lamb, duck and sword fish - everything was perfectly prepared. The pavlova as dessert sounded simple but surprised us with different textures and a very fruity and fresh taste. Take some time for exceptional food, make sure you make reservation - space is limited and it was fully booked when we where there. This was one of our unforgettable highlights of our stay in Paris - now we know the meaning of „french cuisine“. Hope this restaurant will keep this quality and we are looking forward to visit it again on our next stay.

The food is amazing! They change some dishes depending on the day and season which is great, talks about freshnes and creativity. You can see a lot of techniques and love in every plate. The flavors and textures are good, temperatures ok. Nice way of plating. Maybe the style/decoration of the restaurant is not at the level of the food, but is ok, I also have a lot of acidity the day before, so maybe they may take a look on the balance of fat/citrics on the food.

The 2 of us but not sure you would class it as romantic 🤣 lovely, small restaurant - was busy so make sure you book! 3 choices of starter, main & dessert - food was tastey, well prepared & nicely presented. Nice wine list. Staff were lovely. Would definitely go back!

What a delicious lunch in Montemarte! My husband and I both had the duck for our entree, goat cheese for appetizer and then we had separate desserts (heart shaped macaroon and chocolate cake). Everything was beautifully presented and cooked perfectly. The service was superb to match. The restaurant is small so it was like a well choreographed dance to watch the food arrive at each table. And to top it off, it was filled with locals, not tourists. Definitely recommending to friends and family … and will return the next time I’m in Montemarte

A small French restaurant in Montmarte, a few minutes walk down the hill from the Sacre Coeur. When we dined most of the diners were French--a good sign. With a creative touch, quality ingredients and aesthetic presentation. The service staff were gracious and humorous. Classic!
