10/10A fantastic venue with a lovely atmosphere. The host is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable without being pretentious. The food is imaginative while staying true to classic recipes and perfectly cooked. Every dish we had we were still talking about on our way home to our rented apartment. Very extensive wine list that has everything you could ask for at every price point. Does look overwhelming at first read, but is well laid out and the staff can quickly help you find the bottle you are after. The only issue is we only found this amazing spot on our last evening and therefore couldn't return before the end of our trip! Sincerely hope we get to return one day!

10/10+1We had. A wonderful evening at L’Antica - we were welcomed in and hosted perfectly all evening ! We had the set menu - which was phenomenal , from oysters to steak and then the goo-Iest of brownies ! Everything was perfect and as a celiac, I was very catered too. The gluten free bread was the fluffiest I have ever had! Would definatly return , the food was wonderful , drinks list endless and hosts most welcoming !

10/10+2good service and food was very nice quality. Slightly on the pricey side but can just be justified by the level of attention you get. Also have an impressive collection of wines and spirits.

5.5/10We selected L'Antica for a Saturday evening meal during our Christmas holiday in Como, especially with its numerous Michelin Awards, but not impressed !! ... We are culinary experts and can say the food was average along with ambiance, possibly Saturday evening was the wrong time to eat there as two large parties arrived during our meal. In addition the overall cost for the meal was expensive for what we ordered 216 euro - 3 people each having a starter and main course with drinks, and we left without a dessert as disappointed with the whole experience. I'm not sure how The Fork came up with a £40 average price per person as a guide price, they should review this.......... Would I recommend L'Antica on our experience........ NO

10/10The food and the service was amazing. Really good quality food, specialty steaks, truffles galore. What especially stood out is that everything on the menu was gluten free, with 1 exception. The waiter was very knowledgeable regarding celiac disease and it made our gluten free dinner completely unforgettable!

8/10We have eaten here before for lunch and enjoyed the meal and wine. This time we ate dinner there and we’re seated upstairs. The space was very simple but elegant in design and decor BUT the lighting was too bright for an evening meal. We had three servers working the upstairs area, who were very polite and efficient in taking our orders and bringing something when we asked. The food as always was very tasty and well presented. I would recommend going but ask to be seated downstairs!

10/10A restaurant can have the most delicious food and the best ambiance but it is always, only as good as its customer service. L'Antica shines in this category. Our table was provided discerning and efficient service by a revolving group of employees who all seemed so happy to be working there. It is a rare and magical event when this happens. Roberto was especially engaging and his passion for seasoning the food at the table with the exact right salt and herbs had us sprinkling a mixture of sea salt blended with rosemary from his own garden on our meal! It was a game changer. Make a reservation, you will not be sorry!

10/10Great experience. The service was very attentive and personal, everything was explained in detail, and we never felt like we were rushed or abandoned. Really enjoyed the set menu and thought it offered a great way to try multiple things without breaking the bank. Food quality and variety was superb. Wholeheartedly recommended!

9/10It all starts with the meat. From treatment, curation, butchering to cookery. This restaurant is a serious meat place. Have enjoyed steaks from Chicago to Tokyo, and yet if we are close in that region we attempt to stop a night at Como to enjoy L‘Antica. It is a great value, and fun. Try it!

10/10It was faultless in every way. Menu was not too complex. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Food was presented well and there weren’t long waits between courses but we were not rushed at all.

5.5/10We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and we gave it a try in one of the 2 days we spent in the Como area. Even if we spent about 250 euro for 4 people, besides the not so “friendly” service, the food was not “wonderful”. Also the presentation and the taste could have been better. The main attraction is the T-Bone, for which you pay minimum 120 euro. Wines are also expensive, but with a lot of variaty. We’we had better service and better food in other restaurants with Michelin star (this is number 4 out of 4).

6.5/10Pasta was sub standard, took 1h15min for it to be served. We thought that they have misplaced the order, and when we complained they rushed the cooking. Just a guess… Meat was excellent, as was the wine that was proposed. Starters also were great, we loved the tartar. The restaurant was cosy, beautiful paintings o the walls.

10/10If you’re a meat and wine fan, this is the place to go. The gentleman that served my husband and I (forgot his name) was extremely knowledgeable and gave some fantastic recommendations. We’ll be back again next year

9.5/10We visited this restaurant last night and it was the highlight of our Como visit. Choosing the food and wine was like a consultation of what our preferences are, where the food is sourced from and the differences between one dish and another. Our waiter was fabulous, so engaged, passionate and knowledgeable about the food and wines. But I have to commend all tge staff at this restaurant, they all made us feel welcome, there was no rushing us along and they all seemed happy to be there, which says a lot. We walked in and immediately felt comfortable! The food itself was just amazing, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

10/10We loved the traditional appearance of the restaurant and lively atmosphere, and this was the best meal we have had during our trip to Milan and Como (all within this price range). The bream in particular was wonderful! The portions however were small so I would recommend some side dishes.

7/10We were seated in an underwhelming separate room on the first floor - make sure to ask for a ground floor room when you make a reservation. Food was good, but expensive relative to quality. Service was very friendly but slow at times. Our check bill was incorrect (to our disadvantage) - make sure to check before paying.
