Worst service and food I ever experienced in France. The mussels were not fully cooked, we didn't finish it, the flank steak was well done even though we ordered medium and the fries were old and soggy. The waiter was pushy and did not even say goodbye after we didn't leave a tip. The price of the meal was the only thing that reminded us of a proper restaurant. Terrible, please avoid this place.

This was a very disappointing restaurant. The waiter handed me an iPad where I entered my own order. The escargot (12 pieces) was pricey (33 Euros), but a huge disappointment. They seem to have omitted the garlic, and 2 of the shells were missing the meat. The Duck Parmentier tasted fine, but every other bite was a mouthful of small bones (vertebrae?) which was very offputting and disgusting. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The braised lamb will remain indelibly ingrained in my memory for my remaining time on earth, Incredibly savoury and just fell off the bone. Wonderful, delightful staff as well.

Lovely atmosphere, just what I wanted for an evening meal. The staff were very friendly. Having lived in Normandy for 4 years, I was delighted to find Moules Marinières and a tarte tatin on the menu. The mussels were really small so I had to really work for my meal and I found the sauce a bit more bland than I like. The tarte tatin was lovely.

Unfortunately the place is not the same that it used to be. We have been coming here on and off for over 10 years. We conduct tours of Paris for designers and architects and other professionals and try to bring our clients to this restaurant for a taste of traditional French cuisine but we were so disappointed in the fact that they raised their prices way more than other restaurants in the neighborhood and the food was lacking taste and quality and the service was horrible. Not sure that we'll be going back, for sure not with our clients.

Gorgeous food in a lovely bistro at the bottom of Sacré Coeur. A good price for two very tasty courses.

I particularly enjoyed my appetizer, the poached egg with cheese. It was a nice first meal in Paris.

Very friendly team and Ipad based menu with visuals and description in English makes ordering easy. Food was good and as expected.

Disappointing Experience After a Promising Start We had high hopes for L’Envers du Décor, and to be fair, the evening started off very well. The service was attentive, and the appetizer was delicious. Unfortunately, things took a strange and disappointing turn after that. Once the starter was cleared, the service seemed to vanish entirely. No one came to clear our table, and we had to ask four times before finally receiving the wine we had already ordered. Parts of the main course were subpar — the chicken, in particular, was dry and had to be sent back. Most frustratingly, no one followed up with us after we raised our concerns. There was no apology, no explanation — just silence. When a restaurant begins with such promise, it’s especially disappointing to see it unravel so completely. Both the food and the service fell apart, and we were left feeling ignored and let down. Sadly, based on this experience, we cannot recommend L’Envers du Déco

The setting was a typical French restaurant. There was a nice ambiance. The service staff were polite and always helpful. Only one of the orders was forgotten. I would like to attribute this to the fact that we were the last table of the day and arrived a little late. The menu includes examples of typical French cuisine. A satisfying menu in terms of variety. However, in terms of taste, it can be said to be at a mediocre level. The cooking levels of meat dishes in particular could be improved a little more. I can't say it was the best meal I've ever had in terms of taste, but it satisfied us.

Good service, lovely atmosphere and a good range of really traditional French food. The Maigret of Duck was disappointing but everything else was excellent. We ate there more than once.

Ik had moule frites. A lot of sand was in it, Frites were very greasy. Told the waitress who was kind to help. The waitress apologized and asked me if I would like to have something else. I choose the salmon which she recommended. The salmon was overcooked unfortunately. When we had to pay they charged me for the salmon which was way more expensive than the moule frites. That I think is not good costumer service.

After visiting the Sacre Coeur this bistro offered classic French dishes at reasonable prices, we enjoyed the atmosphere and its proximity to Montmartre. Staff friendly and accommodating.

I see many people rate this restaurant 8.0 to 9.0. For me, not even close. The food was poor….in fact I needed to send back one of the ribeye steaks I ordered because it was completely burned. I don’t understand how a restaurant in Paris can get away with that. Also, the tables were crammed so closely together that it was impossible to walk or even move your chair back without bumping into someone else. There are many many many other better restaurants in the city. Even Chipotle would be better.

Our visit made it memorable as the location is walking distance to where we were staying as well as the landmark. We ordered the frog legs, escargots, foie gras, duck leg, steak and chips which is absolutely delicious, in our opinion a must try dishes. The staff was very friendly especially as we brought a child with us for dinner. Though it’s quite busy and loud at times we had a great time!
