For people craving the small, authentic experience, this is a good choice. We visited after an evening visit to the Louvre on a Friday evening. We opted for the full surprise menu. The food and the wine were well prepared and really enjoyed all of the courses. I don’t think there was a miss in the bunch. For us, the octopus salad, and the pork confit were the best standouts though. Staff were aware of our lactose allergy in advance and very accommodating. The restaurant is small and seating is tight with some outside seating. This was not a criticism, but it is to help others know what to expect. Service is engaged and friendly. We noticed a mix of locals and tourists. For the quality and service, we found the price a bargain. We had two full surprise menus and wine pairings. Total price including around a 8% tip was about 225 Euro. We would return without hesitation.

Food was outstanding - using ingredients well and creatively. Service was attentive and friendly - perfect dose of attentiveness. Small restaurant- a little tight in places but the charm from using different sized furniture gave it an old charm tavern.

We enjoyed our dinner at this lovely restaurant- the meals were excellent. My only suggestion is related to the lighting in the restaurant which could be improved- the LED lights on the wall should be dimmed in the evening as they detract from the ambiance. It would make the evening even more enjoyable (and cost).

The menu is limited but offers enough variety that you can find something that resonates. Each dish we ordered was executed very well, good flavors, perfectly cooked. It would be nice to add an entree menu option that was « fresh », like a vegetable or interesting salad. The only negative of our experience was an extremely loud group of 13 people. The space is small and intimate, not made to accommodate large groups. Very difficult to converse with my dining partner.

We had an excellent dinner as every single dish we ordered was delicious. The service was friendly but a bit slow. The tables were tiny and the sitting not very comfortable. Despite all of this we will be happy to go back again

Cosy setting, excellent food and a heartwarming welcome - this restaurant was one of the high-lights of our weekend in Paris! We chose the 3-course menu and opted for different dishes. All were beautifully presented and the taste was superb, all accompanied by the waitress choice of wine that suited our taste buds.

We had a perfect dinner! They were quite busy which is a GOOD thing for business, their service was extremely kind and attentive with each interaction. The food was divine. The wine was also incredible. I look forward to returning tp try even more of their menu! Merci!

The food was amazing, and any combinations of menu items will surely be a great experience. The staff also recommended food and wine, to enhance the experience. Food was also reasonably priced for how good it was. Would recommend to anyone who wants a fancy but reasonably priced dining experience.

A warm and intimate ambiance with excellent food and perfect service. I could not have been more satisfied! We went on a Monday and were confided in that the vegetarian options were limited since they had just opened. I loved that transparency! The veggie plate with smoked paprika appetizer was sublime. For the main I had the mushroom risotto which was more fresh and delicate than any risotto I have ever had before. Divine!

A really excellent meal. Charming service and a great Rhône wine suggestion. Filled with local people in marked contrast to other noted restaurants nearby. Would certainly recommend and will return if we stay again in the Montorgueil area.

This was a wonderful experience! Food was amazing, service was accommodating even though we were late and at the end of the evening. Menu was simple and yet each dish was a fantastic combination of flavors that were balanced and thoughtful. The service and ambiance was welcoming like a dinner party with friends. Magnifique!
