L’Archeste? More like L’Argh-ch-I-can’t-believe-I-wasted-my-time-and-money-here. Sure, the amuse-bouches were delicate, but so is a snowflake, and just as forgettable. Perfectly balanced main courses? More like perfectly boring. If you enjoy paying exorbitant prices for food that tastes like it was cooked by a robot, then by all means, knock yourself out. As for the Michelin star, I suspect someone was paid off. Save your money and grab a sandwich. You'll thank me later.

Off the busy streets of Paris, this restaurant is nestled quietly away from madding crowd and like nobility standing on its own. Once you enter you are immediately struck by the simplicity of the restaurant with no more than 8 tables. Typical Japanese classic look, the look and feel with its wooden walls is beautiful. From the palate cleanser begins a culinary journey of epic proportions. Each of the dishes in this set 5 course dinner was delicious. It’s not a cheap place to have dinner but it is worth it.

Quirky and delicious cuisine with that excellent mix of French and Japanese. I love Thai little restaurant and the wine pairings are always inspired and just right.

Wonderful and attentive staff, great variety of food, and a fun Asian influence to modern French food.

Amazing pairings and a welcoming, light atmosphere! A real delight! I would certainly recommend and come back again. Wine pairings were on point with food as well.

Wonderful meal. A little miffed that the upselling to the higher priced menu was done so deceptively.

We had to wait for longer than 45 minutes just to get to look at the menu and to ask three times for a wine list. The same level of attention we got in the course of the 3 hours meal: just to have our glasses filled by the waiter would take a lot of effort. Some courses were really creative. An appetizer and scallop starter have been exceptionally good. Some courses where supprising but not in good way. Extra creamy risotto with foie gras and chewy oyster has been particuraly disappointing. Most of the courses of the 7-course menu have been completely forgettable. A unique experience not to be repeated.
