This is a proper Italian flavour with quality. The description you find in the Michelin guide is spot on. Delicious.

Food was slow and not refined (not what you would expect for a Eur110 per pax course) and there a a mix-up on order of wine. The restaurant is badly understaffed with one waiter serving many tables and managers (in suits) there were not helpful at all.

We went to L'Assaggio for a pre-theatre dinner. The service was spotty at best. They were out of lasagna, which was the meal we had chosen. They were not great at offering other recommendations or cared that they were out of items on the menu. We were seated at the bar, I assume because someone had rented the restaurant space for a an event. When I made the booking there was no mention that we would be seated at the bar, which was chaotic with a lot of people coming in and out. I would not recommend.

Service was terrible. We arrived at 7:30, and left at 10:30. I had to ask 6 times for a glass of wine. When they brought out the white wine, it was so warm we had to send it back. We had to cancel our main entrees because they were taking so long with service. In 3 hours all we had was an appetizer, one serving of pasta and dessert. Also, there were small children running around the restaurant. Would not go back, don’t understand how they have a Michelin star.

We came for dinner and waited 50 minutes for a glass of wine. No bread or amuse bouche was offered. Finally the wine was brought in dirty glasses with traces of someone's lips and saliva. It was disgusting. The glasses were replaced, but after that everything else was unpleasant to eat. The atmosphere was spoiled, sorry

Food was amazing, service was understaffed, and the faint smell of cigarettes was not great. Great place but needs a little more work. Nothing that can’t improve!

We waited a very long time for our food, My daughters and me had dinner and have and 30 minutes later the waiter brought my husbands food. We asked for the wine menu and they never brought it.

A really lovely restaurant with a delicious menu. The courtyard setting is very pretty and stylish. We were a party of 8 people and everyone was very happy with their food - and between us we had most things on the menu! Excellent friendly service.

What an incredible experience. The service and ambiance was superb. Every dish was beyond our expectations and left us wanting more. My husband ordered the duck and I had the veal. We had truffle pasta as an appetizer. The restaurant was so kind to provide amuse bouche at the beginning and end of the meal. I can imagine how lovely it must be to eat on the patio when the weather is warmer. We will return on our next visit to Paris.

My wife and I had the Christmas Eve menu and absolutely loved it. The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. 10/10.

As part of our girls trip, we wanted to share beautiful meals together with incredible service and we were not disappointed. Incredible setting, service and flavours :) Highly recommended!

We were delighted to find this wonderful restaurant within the Hotel Castille. Service was warm and prompt. The food, Italian, was delicious. The veal cutlets the best I’ve ever had.

They offer to adapt the degustation menu to be vegetarian. Unfortunately was nothing special on that. If you can offer a vegetarian version, it should be at the same level of the "normal" one.

The choices of food were limited, but what we had was delicious, as were the wines, and the service was also excellent. We found the ambience slightly disappointing: on the website the courtyard looks lovey, but it didn't look quite as nice in reality and it was too cold to sit outside anyway (early March). The interior was comfortable, but perhaps not as elegant or imaginatively furnished as the prices suggest it should be. Nevertheless, we had a really pleasant evening which we very much enjoyed.

The restaurant gave us a reservation and upon arrival told us we had to pay a prixfix menu of 370 Euros, pretty bad and left us with no reservation or NYE meal.

The food was good enough , and the wine but the place had no ambience . I asked the manager if the lights in the restaurant were always up so bright !! He just brushed it off and said it’s always like that . Why would you have the lights turned up so bright in a restaurant that could be so romantic and more relaxing to dine in . It’s a shame and I think they are missing something important . Restaurants are not just about food !!! ….. so I doubt I will ever go back there again as I was keen to get dinner over with and go somewhere more chilled . The bar at the Crillon , where I stay . If the ambience was better I would of stayed longer , ordered more wine and food … but I wasn’t enjoying it enough ….. I hope it changes for other future guests . And think of the amount of income they are losing ! Shame … good food

Food is exquisite and imaginative. The detailed explanations of how the dishes were derived from the original recipes of the chef's mother were informative and enjoyable. Try the menu with the wine pairings!

The service was great, food was delicious but reception was quite odd. I wasn't wearing a suite so the receptionist was like are you sure this is the right address? what is the name of the restaurant? I never complain but this was uncomfortable experience but at least the food was amazing.
