10/10Had a great tasting menu for lunch. Chef Luca stopped by the tables to chat with us. Said his first job was with Massimo. His food was just as good. Amazing!

10/10The food was very special. The menu presented many choices including vegetarian. We choice the classic and we weren’t disappointed. The chef greeted us too and we were happy to discuss his special offerings. Farm to table as he makes his own balsamic vinegar and he has a single specialty farm for the meats. The piglet was amazing. Can’t say enough except we look forward to our next visit and can’t say enough positives in this review.

10/10Great lunch experience. Competent staff from the welcome and through all the 7 courses. Correct and friendly. The wine pairing was excellent to the local traditional menu that we chose. We will definately come back.

10/10A one-starred Michelin restaurant that deserves AT LEAST one more star. This restaurant exceeded our high expectations. Not going to go into great detail. We had the ten course tasting menu and it was MAGNIFICENT! Portions were such that there was NOT too much food. My wife does not eat great quantities of food but was very comfortable with the amount of food we had. Not saying it was cheap but this place shouldn’t be. We have paid far more and gotten less at some other places. If you love imaginative cooking, just GO! Fantastic!

10/10The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.

10/10We enjoyed a private chefs table tasting experience with Chef Luca Marchini and it was the best Michelin Star experience we have ever had. We have been to 1, 2 & 3 Michelin and nothing has compared to this. Chef Luca is humble and respectful not only to his ingredients but also to his restaurant guests. 10/10 BRAVISSIMO!!

10/10A delightful dining experience, start to finish! The kitchen and service team aptly demonstrated why they have earned the coveted Michelin Star. The cuisine was delicious and attractively plated. The extensive wine list is well curated, featuring selections from regions throughout the world. Service was precise, and attentive. The room is beautifully decorated with tasteful background music. The chef personally delivered several courses and took care to explain their preparation and sourcing. This was a world class dining experience, which I hope to repeat the next time I’m in Modena.

9.5/10After the weird experience the evening before, where we eat at the Arnaldo Clinica Gastronomica, and wondered how that establishment could receive a Michelin Star, we here at L'Erba de Re could not understand, that the Michelin testers would not give them 2 Stars. Great wine list, awesome 10 course meal, well balanced and superb service. Nothing to complain!!

10/10We ordered a la carte but were served a beautiful premeal appetizer and bread service on the house as part of the meal. The sommelier is knowledgeable and provided excellent by the glass wine pairings. The atmosphere and service is formal but not surprising given the Michelin rating.

3.5/10We were very excited for the visit to the place but it was a big disappointment. Just because you have a wine book does not mean you deserve a Michelin star. The food just was not tasty for us and some of the dishes we returned. Not creative and not worth a star or a visit in our eyes. Apologies.

9/10Impeccable food and service. Only downgraded atmosphere because a party with a large dog arrived half way into our meal. I don’t approve of animals inside restaurants unless they are certified guide dogs which this one wasn’t. If not for this, it would be 5’s all around.

10/10Excellent Culinary experience in Modena We loved the mix of creativity and tradition! A few signature dishes you will remember (the duck!!). Also the bill was extremely "correct". No surprises, no extra costs. Loved the service too - they went out of their way to meet our time constraint in serving our 8-dishes menu. We will be back for the longer menu - and no time constraints.

10/10One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Service is excellent with very likable staff that makes you feel special and not uncomfortable. Food was pretty much perfection. Flavours were sophisticated and gentle. Textures, presentation and temperature excellent. And portions were generous(!) We had one of the tasting menus. We will come here again one day. Thank you :) P.S. Prices are actually good!

10/10Wonderful 'step back in time' tasting menu with excellent wine pairing. Friendly, polite service. Nice relaxed environment. Located in a small cobblestoned side street. Would definitely recommend a visit.
