the truffle pasta, was simple, but so delicious! and the Steak in green pepper sauce was incredible! It was so tender, it literally melted in your mouth like warm butter. And the tricolour Gnocchi just exquisite.

The location of the restaurant was beautiful. It is hidden inside what looks like a wine cellar on a little side road in Val d’Arno. Everything that my partner and I ate at L’Emrita was 11/10. I highly recommend trying the pasta in Chianti. The pricing of the food is also good for the quality that they serve and their service is excellent! Loved the ambiance and I would also highly recommend booking in advance if you want to visit during the weekend.

The appertazer with the fondue was something really special and amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Amazing last night meal whilst here on a short trip. The food, service & location was fantastic. My fussy 5 year old loves all the dishes we ordered. If you can impress him, then you’re doing great! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We had the ragu rigatoni, chicken with pepper and noodles with truffle! The homemade ice cream topped it off! It was just so lovely all round!

The food was very good. Very nice steak and pasta. Also the ambiance and the service was very good. You should really eat here when you stay in Montopoli!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Amazing food. Quality on all fronts. Service was fantastic. We do not speak Italian, but this was never a problem. Well worth a visit if you are near Montopoli in Tuscany. Beautiful hidden gem! We will be back.

Our first visit to LEremita. I am assuming because it was early April the crowds were not yet out. It was very quiet and we were the only guests when seated at 8 pm until two ladies arrived later and were seated in another section. The ambiance was nice; the restaurant cozy, the staff very friendly & helpful. The food was excellent. We had a nice bottle of wine and a starter for two that was almost a meal in itself with meats, two types of fondue, breads and pickled onions. It was very tasty. My wife had a green pepper steak and I had boar stew. Both were filling and delicious. We will return during our next trip!
