A very beautiful location in Cassis. Quiet street near the harbor. The staff was wonderful, efficient and pleasant. Food was traditional foods of the region, well prepared.

Excellent family run restaurant in one of the back streets of Cassis. We ate here twice - once outside and once inside. The set menus are very good value with a good choice and large portions. Would highly recommend the fish soup and the sardine eclair.

Nicest restaurant in Cassis and we tried al the front runners. Food was delicious, unpretentious but good quality. Staff seemed happy and were friendly. Location outside in pretty street was comfortable. Overall great experience.

The restaurant was open on a Wednesday evening.- a big plus in Cassis when most good restaurants are closed.

I was impressed by all I experienced here. The team were totally professional. I was amazed how they could accomodate everyone with a smile and welcome, whether prebooked as I, a lone diner, or walk ins. Food was beautifully presented. These people deserve to do well.

A super small restaurant just off the main front and port, ver atmospheric in a side street. The food is just brilliant, with choices for those who like meat and fish - wine good too! This was our second visit in a few days, just as good as the first time. You should definitely dine here when visiting Cassis

Really glad we got to eat here. Just steps from the port but felt like we had entered a less touristy part of Cassis. The service was excellent, really friendly staff and the food was lovely - would definitely recommend.

I found L’Escalier on The Fork last minute and decided to take a chance and booked a table for my birthday based on the reviews. L’escalier did not not disappoint. We had a fantastic meal of calamari bathed in beautiful fresh persille for our entree. I had La Marmite which was incredibly light and supurb, exactly what I was craving. Mon mari had the beautifully flavorful Poêlon de Mer all followed by fantastic deserts. We will definitely be back again as it is not so easy finding food this good in the center of town. The service was excellent too! Remerci et Bravo!

The service at this tiny restaurant was very good. The food freshly made, delicious. Very fresh fish. Well run and managed establishment. Highly recommended

The food was nice enough. The service was amiable and attentive although a tad slow. We sat outside in a laneway lined with tables. Unfortunately we had an air conditioning system blowing hot air right onto us. These things happen in mid August with a full house on a hot night.

The food was fabulous. The mozzarella and tomato salad especially. Staff were so friendly. We managed with a mix of French and English, all with good humour. Great ambience. Recommended.

The magret and the poelon were excellent. Not a 10 due to the constant shouting of the waiter...
