The ambiance was fantastic, just a beautiful room adjoining the gardens. The pressé des poulpes (pressed octopus) was the best dish, the bar (sea bass) also very good and well prepared. Our waitress recommended a most enjoyable Rosé, the Chateau la Canorgue, from the Luberon.

This was our second time at l'Estellan and it was just as good as we remembered. The meal was stellar and the service was exceptional. The tataki de taureau was delicious.

Overall the servers were friendly although we arrived 10 minutes before opening we were told that but were seated anyway. Our food was fresh and clean but lacked seasoning and was in our opinion over thought with melon and tomato salad with whipped sweet cream. The decor was simple and lighting was a bit too bright.

Pretentious. Uninspired. Overpriced. Bad lighting. Tasteless food. What can I say? The dessert was like Sarah Lee frozen cake. It was just worse than mediocre. Nothing authentic or real about this place. Nice enough staff but that’s no compensation — specially for the prices charged.

Welcoming and attentive. Delicious food enjoyed by all of us. Whilst being outside Gordes itself the restaurant is well worth a visit. The menu has a good selection for most tastes.

Very nice and beautiful restaurant near Gordes. We loved the atmosphere and the menus. Prices right for the place and the (qualitative) food! Adviced for who wants to try a typical restaurant in Provence.
