Lunch service was moved outside without notice. Service was lax and lacking. Smoke from adjoining tables kept us from enjoying the food, Would not recommend as the luncheon experience was not up to par to what was expected for a restaurant of this standing and rating.

All we saw was the outdoor table area and toilettes. Not very welcoming.

We had an excellent tasting menu in a beautiful atmosphere. Each course was exciting and delicious, and we appreciated the extra dishes. We would have appreciated clearer and more detailed explanations of the dishes in English to better understand the chefs' work.

The food was very tasty and its presentation really thought full. I’ve given a 3 only because I has been very disappointed with the wine selection. When you pay 45 Eur for a local wine from Côtes du Rhône you expect a quality that at least you can not find in a supermarket. This has been the recommendation of the sommelier, since my first choice was not available any more. The wine menu could be more updated, I think.

Limited menu . Sea bass came with a tomato soup type of sauce and the Cochon was almost inedible. Wine markup on their Chateau des Fines Roches red was 75 euros for a wine that sells for 35 euros.

Dinner was exquisite. The gorgeous view, the restaurant’s ambiance, and the extremely thoughtful (and highly professional) service was outshone only by the superb meal and wines. We appreciated the delicious amuse-bouche, which more than hinted at the skillfully prepared entrees to come. This is a spectacular restaurant.

The food was wonderful, the patio and view are gorgeous, the service was very good, but the gap between main course and dessert was far too long…I do recommend, but not if you are in a hurry!

The restaurant looks outdated, there is very low ambiance. The food quality is poor - the chef focuses on the plating and not on thw flavors.

Exquisite wines and designed dishes on a terrace with views to the vineyards and the Château as a frame. Extraordinaire!

Wonderful setting in the middle of Chateauneuf du Pape. Very upscale dining experience with a premium wine selection. Service is prompt, friendly and food preparation has a flair on traditional French standbys. It is my go to meal when we are in the area.

It was a truly memorable day. Our sommelier, in particular, helped us find the best wines to go with our meal. The view was stunning, over the vineyards, and the set price lunch menu was very good value.

Excellent setting with a spectacular castle/hotel. Tasting menu was very well-designed and appropriately spaced. Wine list was deep and representative of the region.

This is a good restaurant for the area. Ive eaten lunch here three times and a great experience each time. The wine list is superb. Quit and upscale atmosphere which is good to collect your thoughts after a long morning.

BEWARE! We used to come here with family and had beautiful memories. We made a reservation 2 months in advance and flew half way around the world expecting a wonderful afternoon but left crying because they were completely RUDE to our children. When we arrived, instead of asking us what we wanted to drink, they informed us that the kitchen was closing and that we had to order right that minute. We asked if we could look at the menus but they informed us that we had to order right then and we thought they were joking (they were not) and offered no recommendations. Unfortunately, on top of this, the quality of food was far below standard and price point- dishes were lacking flavor and over- cooked. They did not bring water or wine or butter for the bread for the bread when we asked for it. Also they tried to over charge for the wine. Unfortunately the wine was the only item on the menu that was of great quality. Bathrooms had bugs and weren’t clean. Dine out regularly, this likely the worst service I’ve ever received in 4 decades.

The suroundings are stunning and instantly relaxing. The restaurant is fancy but still with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food is top quality and very elegant. Using mainly local products the chef makes some of the best dishes we have eaten!

A nice location certainly but the menu hasn’t changed much since our last visit two or three years ago. The quality of the cuisine is good but overall the experience feels slightly cliché’d by a strong sense of ripping off the tourists. It was truly frightening to see there wasn’t a single bottle of wine (white or red) under €55 and many were considerably more. We live in the region and know the true costs of these wines so to see them marked up so much was very disappointing. I would add that €18 for a glass of unspectacular champagne is too top heavy. In summary it’s okay but all the wines are way way overpriced, which given its location in the heart of an important wine region is just plain wrong.

The kitchen is trying, but doesn't really "get it". When someone orders a cup of soup for an appetizer...sending out something almost identical as an amuse bouche is redundant. They have learned to create powders to dust the plates, which is great, but they put a powder on EVERY dish. For such a magnificent location, it was underwhelming. I'd tell you what I had, but two weeks later, I don't even remember. Also...I ordered a bottle of wine and a bottle of sparkling water. Other than when it was delivered, they never topped off my glass...once! I had to refill my glass throughout the night. Just very disappointing.

A wonderful lunch overlooking rolling hills, lush farmland and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. Completely relaxing atmosphere with expert service combined with exquisite plates for each course. Great value for lunch. Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine, reasonably priced put this meal at one of the best of our trip. Thanks for providing us this amazing experience.

We booked a table at this restaurant with the "The Fork" service. And while I booked, the service offered me two possible options of time available at that night, 15.08.2018. I choosen 21.00- as if the time was available at the time table. And I also received an email with confirmation of my booking! At that moment we were in Sault-de-Vaucluse, so we were in a big hurry to be at the restaurant in time! Also very hungry and were very exited anticipating our "great dinner".... What was our surprise and disappointment when it turned out that we were not welcome, and an arrogant and unfriendly manager told us that our reservation is not existing and it not possible that we could book a table at 21.00 as if they stop serving at 9 p.m. Despite of my confirmation. So we had to leave, disappointed, hungry and angry! The last day in Provence was ruined! I will never suggest to any of my friends the restaurant and the fork servise!

We were very disappointed. The food was average, not more than that. The wine was good but overpriced (a glass of a chateuneuf du pape € 12,--. In the afternoon we had bought a bottle of exactly that wine for € 22,00...) The service was for that category insufficient, we had to wait - with our warm dishes already served - for the wine pairing, we had asked for when ordering. So - it was not bad kitchen, but no more than average. For us this was a really overpriced and never-again experience.
