Absolute perfection! Every dish is a work of art and the flavors are spectacular. Great wine selection and flawless service.

I am an American who has been on assignment alone in Strasbourg for 10 months. I do not have a kitchen so I eat out every night. I have eaten at all of the best restaurants in the city multiple times. Au Crocodile, La Vaille Enseigne, 1741, Buereheisel...they are all wonderful -- but the place I love coming to time after time is l'Imaginaire.The tasting menu is always different and creative. I love discovering creative new dishes that I never would have thought of - gourmet dishes with innovative components including corn ice cream, tomato sorbet, carmelized popcorn, black garlic. I invariably love the main courses with perfectly cooked fish, roe meat, veal sweet breads. And the wine pairings and cheese are of the highest quality. But the piece that really separates l'Imaginaire from the other top restaurants is the quality of service. The team is very attentive, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable - but they are also very personable and non-pretentious. I've now eaten there 20 times!

The staff was absolutely delightful. We were taken care of throughout the whole evening. It was a pleasure and refreshing. The best experience was the food though. This was our highlight of the whole trip. Will definitely try to come back there.

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had over the last year. Portions were plentifully sized and very well executed. The flavor combinations were outstanding. Frankly, we were over the moon for this place!

Short taxi ride from Strasbourg cathedral but definitely worth the visit. We had the Inspiration menu which had 6 courses. Good wine pairing suggestions made doubled with very good service. Great way to spend a lovely evening.

Nice small restaurant at the center of Schiltigheim, nice ambience , excellent food and really good service. Definitely a repeat when in the area

Hidden gem only 10 min drive from Strasbourg. Impeccable cellar, brave but amazing inspiration menu.
