The best lasagna I’ve ever had, absolutely beautiful food

The table was reserved as requested, We were welcomed by friendly staff. The service and food were excellent, especially the portion sizes and quality of food. It was a lovely relaxing evening in a tranquil ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a 30-seat neighborhood restaurant with amazing food. Tables are close together, the menu is simple traditional Italian offerings, and there are only a handful of wines on the menu. The pasta was incredible. Every bite just relaxed us even more. Has a family-run vibe, even though our server told us she was “not family, just a neighbor.”

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Given its location, if the tables outside could have been slightly further apart, that would add to the overall ambience.

L'Incontro manages to be both a nice "neighborhood restaurant" and a really good place for italian food. It stands in a nice corner within De Baarsjes, with tables outside and a cozy interior, served super friendly by the owner and staff. But while it's all relaxed and informal, the food is great! From the pizzas to the pasta, everything we had in several visits has always been really good, with big portions and a really fair price.

Compared to Amsterdam Centre this is a nice little find. I was there midweek but for where it is there were some people there. Possibly locals. Menu was decent. Very clean. Price very decent and the food was freshly made. I could hear my escalope being prepared. I really enjoyed my food and drink and it was the owner who served me and was 100% Italian.

We were in Amsterdam for two nights and went here for dinner both nights because of the extensive menu and great vibes. The food was amazing, the wine was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend!!

Brilliant little authentic Italian restaurant. Service was faultless and genuine, watching the chef chilled whilst cooking was fab, the food was absolutely delicious and I'm so glad we found this place. Highly recommend.

It’s a good neighbourhood find. The food was good in terms of value for money, and the restaurant is on a small, cute street. The service was also very friendly and attentive. I would not, however, say that it is truly genuine Italian food. Overall, would recommend.

We ordered the bruschetta, tortellini spinazie, gamberetti, and they made us a vegetarian calzone. All four appetizers/dishes were amazing! The quantities were pretty big. The tiramisu is a must have! It was soft, creamy, and just perfect! The people there were very sweet. We will definitely be going again.

Good food, good price, good service, nice and quite place! Many options in the menu including pasta, pizza, meet, etc. Will be back there for sure!
