Despite the fact that we had most definitely booked for 7.30 pm and had received multiple confirmations of this and, in addition had, on the day itself, reconfirmed our booking for 7.30, we were accosted on arrival (at 7.30) with the very blunt accusation that we were late and that our booking had therefore been cancelled. We insisted that we were not late and had in fact arrived on time but our protestations were met with indifference. We were informed that it was most probably the fault of your app and that the restaurant had now reinstated our booking. The damage was done, however, as we were left with little doubt that we were in error. My wife was upset and wanted to leave as our reception had been very discourteous but we remained and had a reasonable meal. Had we received an apology this would have improved matters but this did not happen and we are reluctant, therefore to recommend this restaurant.

First impression. Was feeling welcomed. Small cosy well decorated, good ambience. Dishes were outstanding. I ordered a selection of 3 starters and a salad, for my partner and I which was good value for the quality of food. There is a separate loungeing area with couches and comfortable chairs were we went to finish our perfect evening. Perfect for a romantic dinner evening.

In my opinion, the restaurant was too hot. It’s important to have a nice temperature. The AC is a great option.

Very nice restaurant with modern decoration and excellent food. Do not miss the Camenbert with honey and pistachio and also the Micuit. The staff is very friendly and professional, they really know how to manage a restaurant. If the terrace were located next to the sea, it would be the perfect place in Algarve!

Highly recommend L’Interdit for the quality of their food first. We ordered a plate with charcuterie and cheese and an hamburger: both dishes were served with fresh and tasty ingredients (including home made bread for the burger too). The staff is very attentive and ready to explain what you’re eating. Few minutes walking from the beach side, far enough from the loud bars in the main street of Praia da Rocha.
