Required to sit in high stools and could not move to a normal table despite request. 30 minute wait for check as restaurant understaffed .

My sister and I were traveling in Normandy and this restaurant came recommended. I love chef tasting experiences, but my sister had never had the experience - it was so much fun to watch her marvel at each course! It was fun to watch the kitchen at work - you could tell they enjoyed the progress through the evening - as did we! Some of our favorite courses were the carrots-three-ways, the lobster, the quail and the symphony of desserts! The service was not rushed, and each server was helpful - especially for me, who didn't speak French. We would return!

Spectacular dinner in Rouen! We added the caviar and lobster course as well as the cheese course. The cheese is magnificent! Our waiter recommended a gin made by the chef which was so good we bought a bottle to bring home! He also recommended a deep cider to pair with the cheese which was perfect and a rum to go with our desserts. A really special dining experience! Would highly recommend!

Restaurant and service was nice. I enjoyed watching the open kitchen. Sadly, I found some of the plates to be bland.

Too much on the heavy side. Dishes lack freshness. Composition can be unbalanced, for example parts that don't add to the taste. Tastes can be either too strong or too bland. Small establishment, high seating density. Personnel overall friendly, but too poorly staffed to keep watch of the tables.

We had their 3 course set lunch which was excellent, many little extras plus bread to make for a delicious light lunch Good wine by the glass.The restaurant is small and the cold does sneek into the restaurant, but we moved tables when there was space which helped.

Doesn’t taste and feel like a Michelin Star. Very regular. Long service, regular food.

L'Odas is very small somewhat quirky and the tables quite close together or right on top of the serving station, which doesn make for a relaxing time as they maneuver. However the food is wonderful, and served on unique plates that highlight the food. The langoustine cru with dollop of caviar ($supplement to prix fixe) was amazing, as was the other dishes... pigeon, a veg. broth. and the John Dory in an amazing broth w/fried zucchini .The desserts were ok... lots of little tastes.. some really good marshmallows, special tart du Bretagne had a very thick overpowering crust but the dinner was really escellent.

I can’t totally dislike a restaurant with a cheese tray, the desserts were good, but otherwise the meal was unexceptional. Even accounting for the language barrier the service was inattentive.

Great food, but only the manager was really qualified to give us the correct explanation, at least in English. Overall it seems they lack organization or preparation. Ambient was good,

Everything one could hope for in a restaurant - simply delicious food, attentive service and they even welcomed our little dogs - simply perfect!

Outstanding food and service 4 course mystery lunch did not disappoint. Best scallop I have ever eaten and pork entree was so tender with all the right notes of accompaniments

We picked the 6 course blind menu...... Fantastic We could see the chef's from our table. Very calm and confident kitchen.... 5 star .

Aside from a little glitch at payment, perfect A to Z.

We had a menu 49€. Appreciate the “mise en bouche” et “petits fours salés” before the starter. The choice of wine was also amazing. The service was excellent, the waiters were really helpful and nice. Definitely worth to try, and hopefully will come back again one day.

Very good meal. Presentation of the tasting menu was beautiful. It was a surprise menu, which I prefer to avoid. I like to know what we will eat before it is served. The flavors were well thought out, ingenuitive and very different from the usual combinations. The dessert was the star of the meal.

I walked out after 15 minutes of waiting after being taken to my table. Not one waiter acknowledged me or gave me a menu. 4 other tables were welcomed and smiles at, given drinks. Disgraceful.

Would be nice to choose another language as well. Not only French have (a very Good) diner in this restaurant.
