I really enjoyed this beautiful, traditional yet modern bistro. The menu was varied, authentic and delicious for both adults and children. The interior has French nostalgia while having a lovely ambience right by the bustling Republique/Oberkampf neighborhood.

8/10Great restaurant. Food was good. Cosy at times with tables close together, but this seems usual practice in Parisian restaurants. I would recommend this place. Lovely atmosphere with friendly helpful staff.

10/10we had foie gras, the beef filet, the wild boar and the mascarpone emulsion... all of it excelent... the gras was like butter and the meat so tender... the waiter recommendet also a bottle of cuvee about Grenach and Syrah which was very tasteful... perfect evening... thx

7/10After my visit three years ago, the approach appears to have become routine. Of course it was mid-day Sunday but not busy like some places. The Spanish pork, recommended by the host, had plenty of flavour but appeared to have been heated up by frying. Lots of pan-roasted potatoes, common in France. Big letdown was the salad, with greens beginning to wilt. Nice overall, but not at the price paid. Sorry, because the service was very friiendly.

10/10Loved this restaurant! The food was great, the atmosphere really pleasant and the hospitality outstanding! Our server couldn't have been more helpful and nice (let us sample wines, spoke English, very accommodating) and we ended up coming back the next night with friends because we had such a great experience.

8/10This is a charming and handsome environment with welcoming, helpful staff. For example, we were given tastes of two wines to help us make a decision about which bottle to order. We had a reservation and were immediately given a choice of several tables. Unfortunately, the food is nothing special. None of the dishes were bad, but nothing was wonderful either. We found the food kind of bland and lacking seasoning. For example, the poivre vert sauce on my filet mignon should had more than 8 peppercorns and my partner's ceviche had no detectable salt.

9.5/10Lovely find in the back streets about 5mins walk from Place de Republique. Food quality was excellent small choice but well executed and fresh. This is a small restaurant with inside seating - staff were customer focussed and the background music easy on the ear. Would definitely recommend.

10/10We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the fun ambiance and very friendly staff. All were fluent in English. Our family includes two 16 year olds and a 12 year old. They found the atmosphere fun and inclusive as well. The food was great. The special of the day was a pork chop in a sauce that was delicious.

10/10Best restaurant we ate at this trip. It was gourmet, without being over the top. I had the chicken with pineapple and my husband had the pork cheeks. Both were wonderful. The waitress was very attentive and spoke English. The menu also had English. The wine selection was good and the wine we chose was delicious. The dinner with dessert and coffee came to Euro 135 for the two of us, which is not unreasonable. The décor was interesting with the old pharmacy shelves and containers.
