Nice place, busy but friendly staff so had high hopes for the food. Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes. The carbonara was dry & tasteless, supposed to be with beef cheeks but just dried bacon sprinkled on top. The Analetti was basically spaghetti hoops with a few peas, aubergine & mozzarella thrown in, & the egg in the shape of a flower was just a hard boiled egg cut in half! Very disappointing

The service, the food, and the ambiance are always great! We found this restaurant 7 years ago and every year we go to Paris it’s a must visit restaurant.

The food was amazing! Very tasteful, with good ingredients and great quality. The food hall was quite busy, but all staff was trying their best!

We chose this restaurant for our last night in Paris based on positive online reviews and its convenient location. Unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. If you genuinely enjoy Italian food, this is not the place. The dishes were bland and uninspired. The arancini lacked flavor, and the pasta in particular tasted like something from Olive Garden (those from the U.S. will understand the comparison). While the pizza looked appealing, it ultimately tasted like cafeteria food. After a week of memorable meals elsewhere in Paris, this experience was especially disappointing.
L’OlivetoHello Very surprised, and disappointed, to read your review because as you can see it is not at all in line with our reviews in general. The arancini is prepared exactly as in Sicily , but we leave it to the client to use salt, pepper and lemon juice as they prefer. Normally all need to be added , and we would normally do it, but often clients prefer to do that themselves. The other comments frankly are not fair in our opinion, and we invite clients to look at comments from Italian customers to judge what the best critics of our cuisine think of us. Regards L'Oliveto

Faris from Paris was our lovely waiter ! Our meal was lovely, presented well and tasty , home made minestrone soup , piping hot and lovely fresh ingredients. Pizza , pasta and breaded veal ! Deserts were yummy fresh fruit , coffee and yummy Italian cakes . Thank you ! Only grudge was the door doesn’t shut properly and our table was a bit drafty on a very cold night !

Staff was fabulous and friendly. Food was excellent. The pasta with seafood cake in a crust. So unique and tasty! Celebrated a birthday and the shout out they gave to us was so fun. Recommend for sure.

We were excited for this reservation- my husband's dish was excellent: the seafood pasta w/ pizza crust topping- so good. unfortunately they sat us next the bussing station, so it was not great ambience.... The first and second dish I tried to order were both sold out- I took a suggestion for the third choice- and it was not great- just ok. Very fun restaurant - just missed on a few notes for us.

Very friendly staff who even offered to take photos of my small group. My sister and I arrived early and were allowed to sit at the table for 15 minutes while we waited for the rest of our party. Great food - all fresh and very tasty. I had the lasagne which was delicious.

Veal was very dry. Lasagna was good but not great. Salads were fresh. Pizza looked great but we did not have it.

Truffled ravioli had a nice cream sauce but not a real taste of truffles; I remember it differently at LOliveto

We had an amazing meal at L’oliveto. Despite us showing up late, the restaurant still held on to our reserved table, that too on a very busy Saturday evening. When we’d made the booking, we had left a note on the Fork saying that we were dining at the restaurant on our son’s birthday. We were overjoyed when we found out that the staff kept this in mind and made it a stunning celebration for our son when they brought his dessert! He was thrilled and will never forget the complete surprise with the entire restaurant and staff singing Happy Birthday for him! Overall, the service and the meal were excellent, with staff who are happy to cater to any dietary preferences, and who treat customers with real care. We highly recommend L’oliveto. We’ll definitely be going back when we are back in Paris!

We had Bruschetta Siciliana and Ravioli al tartufi nero d'estate, homemade ravioli with sautéed black truffles in cream sauce which were delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant had a good ambience.

Exceptional! Our service was wonderful! He recommend delicious choices. I recommended this restaurant to my sister who is coming to Paris in September! It is within walking distance to the Louvre, so we were able to take pictures of the pyramids at night!

We had a great experience with the whole family. The food was really good – fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. A special mention goes to the chef, who was very attentive, courteous, and friendly. We felt welcome from the start. The Cannolo Siciliano was absolutely delicious – the ricotta filling was one of the best we’ve ever had, possibly the best in Paris. All in all, a lovely evening – we’d be happy to come back!

The waitresses were excellent - very helpful and friendly. The food was good, above average, but didn't quite live up to the high ratings we expected. One odd moment: the manager brought our bill without us asking. Also noticed there wasn't a line outside, which seemed surprising given its reputation.

This restaurant is a real crossroads of the world. There's people from everywhere having dinner. The cocktails are excellent. The thing I ordered was just OK. Sort of a stuffed eggplant thing. It needed a bit more of something… But it was certainly fresh and good. There was a ton of it. I could've easily split my dinner with someone else. These are portions on the American size scale.

Lovely interior booked online which was easy. Food choice was nice ,had a long wait between courses but that was appreciated . Wine was a little over priced compared to the area , would be nice to have a house wine option. Food came out at different times would have been nice to be advised if this upfront

Lunch: Serves and charges for espresso (served along with ordered desserts) without order. Fabulous bolognese ragu, good arabiata, fantastic gelato, average touristy tiramisu (no taste of Marsala or alternative). Did not present discounted set menus without us asking for them.

This is such a lovely neighborhood restaurant. I eat here every time I’m in Paris. Their linguini with salmon is the best around.
