My husband and I spent a month in the Montepulciano area and visited L’Olivo 1x for lunch and 1x for dinner. The staff is always warm & welcoming. We went to dinner with friends and we enjoyed immensely the rack of lamb & the sea bass!! (There’s also a brand new spa with infrared therapy which we had one day along with wonderful massages!)

A very special evening- Marco, our server, was wonderfully attentive, humorous, and patient with our lack of Italian ;) The restaurant and hotel are beautiful spaces, and the food was delicious. I had requested a special treat for my parents who were celebrating an anniversary and the staff made the evening extra special by baking a whole cake! It was delicious, and we are so grateful for their efforts. They also have gluten free pasta, and can accommodate lactose free needs. They have a page at the back of the menu that highlights potential allergens in each dish! I would highly recommend coming here. Thank you again to the whole staff, and to Marco for making our evening one we will always remember 💜

A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Poggio Paradiso I recently had the pleasure of dining at Poggio Paradiso Resort & Spa in Tuscany, and it was an experience I will cherish for a long time. From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal—each dish was a perfect blend of flavors that truly captured the essence of Tuscany. The service was impeccable, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. I was lucky enough to meet Chris and Tim, two of the owners, who made the experience even more special with their genuine hospitality. What stood out the most was the unique charm of this place, combining luxury with a deep connection to local culture. It’s heartwarming to see fellow Americans creating such a beautiful space in this part of the world. I highly recommend Poggio Paradiso for anyone seeking an authentic Tuscan experience. I can’t wait to return and hope to explore

Overall the dishes we got were tasty big portions and reasonably priced but poorly executed. We got two different dishes with codfish (one with homemade pasta and one main course with potatoes) only to discover that it was the exact same recipe used in both dishes. The recipe was tasty but the pasta was overcooked. Also we got some grilled shrimps that were tasty but unfortunately overcook as well. The staff was really nice and polite.

We sat outside in the garden and enjoyed the magical view and the authentic food of high quality. The service was very friendly and always attentive. As many Italian restaurants dogs are welcome which we appreciate.

A perfect dinner ! The employees were really friendl and passionate about their work. The meal were amazing, fresh ingredients prepared with care and respect of the products. I would recommend this place for every one who loves a nice view of the Tuscany region and the taste of great food with a perfect service.
