This was our first meal upon arriving in Sevilla. I had read some reviews on various sites, and, when the owner’s son, David, told us that this meal would be like eating at your grandmother’s home, he wasn’t kidding!! From start to finish, we were amazed, as one bite was better than the next! As tourists, we listened to David’s recommendations. This food is all homemade, or “casera”, and his recipes are from the Basque region. We started with a few glasses of wine, which were delicious, followed by chicken croquetas (outstanding), cod in a delectable sauce you literally could drink, and a lentil castellano, also amazing. By the end of the meal, we felt stuffed and as if we had made a friend. The food and experience were so great that we are planning to return on our only other free night. Please come here…you will be happy you did!!!

Such a wonderful restaurant and owner. He was so welcoming and treated us like family. The food was excellent and well worth the affordable price. After our great experience we were given a tote bag and two waters for free as the owner saw it was hot outside. Definitely will go back again and would recommend to anyone wanting authentic food in a welcoming local restaurant

We booked this restaurant as it had good reviews. The food was good but VERY expensive compared to other places with similar quality. The portions were huge but very simplistic, without vegetables or sauce. The service was good at the beginning till our waiter got yelled at for a very uncomfortable 10min+. It was in the kitchen but so loud that we could actually hear the words. The person doing that (the owner?) has obvious anger issues and so between that and the price/quality would absolutely not recommend.

This is a restaurant in the Basque tradition, so not typical of the Andalucia Region. It is family owned and run, and we thought the owner was a bit too enthusiastic with his recommendations. Why have a full menu if you are going to point diners at one particular dish? However, we enjoyed the dishes he recommended. The restaurant is a bus ride or a 45-minute walk away from the tourist attractions, which made the cost of the meal seem expensive in comparison with the previous evening.

What a great find. I discovered this little gem through Trip Adviser, it’s located about 5km from the cathedral and we visited after a lovely walk through Maria Luisa Park. The owner is very welcoming and will explain the dishes of the day and make recommendations that fit your dietary needs. One of our group is a coeliac and said it was the best meal she’d had in Seville so far. We never looked at a menu just accepted the recommendations and were served delicious home cooked food. I would definitely visit again.

This restaurant is family run and the love and personal connection to the food is apparent in every aspect: high quality of ingredients, exceptional taste, caring, personalized service. If you want divine food in a casual, attentive environment this is the place to go. I look forward to returning any chance I have!

Fabulous, friendly, family run restaurant. We let the owner surprise us, we weren't disappointed. Delicious octopus and mushrooms.

Friendly owner and it definitely gives you an authentic experience outside of the typical tourist trap when you stay in the city center. Highly recommended

Great little restaurant with big portions of delicious fresh Spanish food and friendly welcoming staff who took care to explain the menu and suggest dishes we might like. Definitely recommend

We were treated like family and the food was authentic Seville. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get out of the tourist trap restaurants and experience Seville like a local.

Wonderful dinner on our last evening in Seville. We went for a steak and lamb respectively, the food was just delicious and the quantities were very generous. The restaurant is run by a basque family that migrated south to the city and brought their own spin on traditional basque cuisine with them, ably prepared by their mother. Had a lovely chat with the owner and son, so friendly and welcoming. Great to meet you! English is spoken if you are not Spanish and the menu is great, range of meat dishes, seafood and tapas. We can't recommend this place enough, just go and try it, folks! Wonderful food. 10/10.

This delightful restaurant sits slightly off the beaten track in Seville but is well worth a visit. The food was awesome and the husband and wife owners could not do enough for us. The rack of ribs main was huuuge and delicious and the homemade Tiramisu to die for????????????????. They even called the taxi goer us and gave us and the taxi driver free bottles of water because the weather has been so hot. Highly recommend a visit.

We spend a wonderful time during our lunch. Anthony was an excellent guest, the food was very tasty and the cozy atmosphere complete our great afternoon.

Lovely meal, we were told about everything about the menu and recommendations and that everything was cooked by his mother. We had the paella and octopus which were both cooked to perfection and both tasted Devine. Then we had the cheesecake which was heaven. The service was excellent and everything was explained to us. We would definitely comeback and recommend this place.

Great find! Small neighborhood cafe/bar. Family-run restaurant exceeded our expectations! The proprietors were very cheerful and welcoming. They love what they do. We will return during our stay at the nearby AC Hotel.

I'm glad we found this family run bistro in Seville, it was only a bus ride from the train station area where we were staying. We left the food choice to the owner, we had goat cheese salad, ribs and ham and eggs, everything was delicious. We finished off with tiramisu and coffee. Bill was not too expensive for what we had. Overall, one of the best food experience in Seville so far.

Great atmosphere , brilliant owner with real enthusiasm for explaining the dishes and most importantly the amazing food. Will be returning my next trip back to Sevilla.

Was super authentic food + the owner made us feel right at home. Ended up having way too much, but it was very good and the complimentary drink from Navarre was perfect.
