This was by far the worst food i have had in Florence. I ordered some meat stew and roasted potatoes, i was really looking forward to trying the food here as it appeared the place had good reviews. The meat was very hard to cut even with a steak knife and extremely hard to chew, i could't taste any meat flovour , the dish was just overwhelmed with a thick tomato sauce. The roasted potatoes tasted off as if they had been cooked in rancid oil. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said she'd go and report it to the chef/owner. When she returned she said no comment from the kitchen, no apologies, nothing, although she could clearly see i left part of my dished in the plate. I left in total disbelief of what had happened. This was my first time using the Fork app and probably the last one too.

Friendly staff. Who helped us practise as we are trying to learn to speak Italian. They patiently chatted with us ignoring all of our mistakes. Even helped us to translate the table mat . Food was great Tagliatelli Cinghiale, Bruschetta, Caprese Salad and the caramel desert and Tiramisu. the wine was good too Chianti Classico Osteria. Well worth a visit.

My husband and I visited Florence last year and stumbled upon L’ Osteria Cucina Casalinga and Loved it! The steak, the veggies, potato’s, and house red wine were amazing!! We ate there 2 out of the 3 nights we were in Florence. Upon knowing we were returning to Florence this summer we were excited to take our daughter and her friend to try the restaurant. Again, the restaurant did not disappoint- the service, the food (steak, veggies, and potato’s) the wine ( house red Chianti) and the atmosphere were amazing! We all loved it so much we went back again the next day and had lunch!

Very friendly staff. Were attentive when they needed to be. Ordered the Bistecca and it was cooked perfectly. Soft Italian music played the entire time adding to the ambience. Would definitely return!

The waitstaff was super friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding! That was probably the best most perfect tasting steak ever. All the food, pasta, bruschetta and caprese were delicious! I definitely recommend.

Staff was great! Friendly and attentive. The food was spectacular! We both had the tagliatone one with the wild board sauce and one with the meat sauce. Both were delicious.we had a bottle of the Amorone della Valpilocella (always a lovely wine) and then split a tiramisu. The tiramisu was positively delightful! Great food and great evening!

We really enjoyed our early dinner at this restaurant. We tried the wild boar ragu and the small mixed grill, both very yummy!. We tried the aperol and the wine and were also very good. Really worth a visit for a good meal.

Truly amazing lunch. My husband had the mixed grill for one with i) peas and pancetta, and ii) spinach as side dishes. I had the truffle pasta. We also opted for a glass of wine each. The food was excellent, the wine was lovely, and the service great despite the restaurant being busy. Would definitely go again!

Great food. We had degustzione de l osteria as a starter, beef sirloin and slow cooked beef with mashed potatoes, paird with a bottle of Chianti. Finished with a great tiramisu, one of the best. Truly recommend this place!

Traditional Italian Osteria with great local Tuscan cuisine. Staff is polite, friendly and agile. Good quality food well prepared and nicely served. We also enjoyed a bottle of original chianti wine. Highly recommended!

The host provided excellent service and was very helpful in explaining the menu and enabling us to select some very unique dishes. We booked for lunch and will definitely come back for dinner. The food and service are both outstanding.
