"Ristorante alle pendici dell'Etna, ma non molto distante da Catania, ubicato all’interno delle Tenute Nicosia, rinomata casa vinicola produttrice di ottimi vini etnei. inserito in un contesto rustico/signorile molto gradevole e curato nei minimi particolari. Accoglienza e servizio ottimi del personale, molto attento, professionale e disponibile nella spiegazione dei piatti e dei vini.
Abbiamo gustato piatti molto buoni, ben cucinati, anche innovativi e con originali e gradevolissimi accostamenti di sapori, legati comunque alla tradizione siciliana. In particolare, un ottimo “Finto arancino di patate”, altrettanto gustosi primi, quali Casarecci al ragù bianco e Casarecci al pistacchio; tagliata di manzo con verdure e scaglie di piacentino e Valery di maialino con cuore di pistacchio, entrambi molto buoni e veramente ben cucinati. Per dessert Gelo di anguria con cioccolato di Modica, buono. Naturalmente, un eccellente vino rosso della Casa. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo"
