Service was excellent. Very welcoming with everyone saying good evening when we entered. Server was helpful and friendly. Spoke English very well. Food was superbe.

Fish was tasteless. Old fashioned cocktail was a catastrophe. The only good thing I can say about this restaurant there was white tablecloth.

we been to Luzine many times . my octopus was delicious but smarter Artichoke salad was a bit uninspiring, too acidic and adding peppery rocket did not make it better. service as usual fantastic

The food and good value for the price

The food was good, although the portions are almost too large - both the salad Riviera and the escalope de veau a le creme could easily have served two, and I was unable to finish either. So I'd say perhaps choose only one course unless you're hugely hungry, especially as tasty tapenade, toasts and bread rolls are provided too. The salad was heavy on quinoa and rather unappealing in texture and appearance, but tasted nice. The mushroom sauce was superb. The glass of viognier was well-presented and flavoursome, ditto the mojito. Service was friendly and efficient - but what a shame that, when the bill was presented, I was asked whether I would like to add a tip. This is poor practice, perhaps focused on travellers who aren't aware that it is 'service compris'. I am 64 and very well aware how to add an additional tip should I choose to, either in cash or by card. It left a bad taste in the mouth, which was a shame. But a nice experience, and I shall go again. Perhaps.

Very nice food and service for a birthday

From the service, beautiful interior, and incredible meal - we are so glad that we chose L’Uzine for a landmark birthday dinner on our last night in Nice. This was the best meal of our trip.

The BEST MEAL we had in France. Every dish was a flavorful explosion of freshness and elegance. The location was difficult to get to, recommend Uber or Taxi, but outside of that it was AMAZING!!! The service was outstanding---we arrived late as we were unable to find parking---and they still sat us 20 minutes after our reservation. This is a Class Act. Super LGBT friendly. L'Uzine is on our top 10 while in Nice. Thank you to a great team!!!!

Good food, some servers were nice other not. Too loud with DJ playing. CHECK you Bill we were charged twice for a bottle of wine. This is the second time.

+1Rich and varied menu. The côte de bœuf was excellent, and the rosemary pluma Iberica was exquisite. Desserts were as beautiful as they were delicious. Impeccable service. Bonus this Friday: a live band that created a fantastic atmosphere!

Portions are very small for the price. Ambiance and service was lovely. I have been several times in past years, but there is a noticeable difference in portion sizes this year. Sad because it's a lovely place.

That was our third visit. Two years ago at the first visit, everything was great, we got warm plats, little spoons for the sauces, a Glass for a Beer. Nowadays you sitting directly next to the cupboard (pretty noisy) and you pay around 180€ for three and finished up after 40 min. But nevertheless the quality of the meal and the flavor is definitely perfect and top.

This time the chateavrian was bad. Served it twice and bad. They blamed it on the chef not the same one like the week before when the chateabran was fit for kings

Definitely a spot visited by locals - not touristy like many other spots. Excellent meal, excellent service and great French atmosphere. Can't wait to come back.
