10/10We went last night for our date night! It is not the first time we have been there. We love going back to this place, far away from the touristy restaurants, excellent food, extremely good service, Nuria at the reception is lovely and very helpful! Great ambience! We had a steak and it was delicious! 10 out of 10 for this place! It is our favourite spot!

4/10Most surprisingly, overtaken by a strong smell at entry, smells like a pub (we had to move to the terrace to avoid it). Food was very average at high price. Service was nice. The restaurant advertises a midweek menu but it only had “a la carte” menu available on a random Wednesday

5.5/10The restaurant is beautiful, but a several of the staff members were not very friendly, the service was not what we expected, the menu was limited and did not seem local/featured local cuisine. Ex: the burrata entree, the tuna tartar tasted as though it came from a sushi place. It was not bad but I expected a lot more from a Michele guide

7.5/10A couple hiccups in service- I asked the host if there was a place for my coat and was offered an ottoman to place it beside me only to notice a few minutes later there was a coat rack in the dining room she neglected to mention. The croquettes and lamb matin course were stupendous and the staff was very helpful recommending a wonderful wine to match our tastes, but the duck entree felt over tough and uninteresting in terms of flavor, but the desserts made up for it as well and all in all it was a lot of great things and experiences with a couple stumbles.

9.5/10Beautiful atmosphere perfect for start of our day … the specials suggested were delicious…we had ham was delicious and veggies were cooked to perfection ended meal beef tartare and grilled octopus!!!

10/10This is restaurent built on top of a old water deposit for a local old farm; the architectonical solution figured out by a reputed catalan architect more that 30 years ago used a lght wood roof, is proven enduring and beatiful. This was meant to be a restuarant for the beatiful people of Barcelona. Now customers are more diverse but atmosphere is good and relaxing; seating in la Balsa, surruender by a garden is an expierence. Food is goot to excellent, not high cuisine, no experiments. Service is good and effiicent. Price very reasonable on the set menu, average to high a la carte,

9.5/10The duck was good and the sea bass was outstanding - perfectly cooked and very well seasoned. The waiter recommended a local Catalan wine which was absolutely perfect - very fragrant and fruity and well balanced. But the height of the evening was the freshly made cottage cheese drizzled with honey. We ordered one to share but immediately ordered a second. It literally brought tears to our eyes when we realized how pitiful our life is in the US as this kind of food simply does not exist there … :-)

8/10Great atmosphere we loved it! The only issue was that themain dish was not not served all together so 1 person had to wait for a longer time, also the lamb meat was cold. I would go back to this restaurant hoping the waiting time will be better.

10/10The location of the restaurant is awesome. Quite, private and beautiful. The atmosphere accomplishes that you are 100% focused on your table and the people you are with, even though you are surrounded by a lot of people. The very subtle music in the background, the architecture of the place and the big separation between tables accomplishes that. The food is all you could expect from a restaurant like this one, EXCELLENT. Finally, the service was incredible. 10/10!

10/10It was a lovely evening the ambience and the food were great what made it super special was the great service from Sergio. He gave us a history of the location and was super helpful with the ordering. We ordered five appetizers to share and we loved them all.

5.5/10The restaurant has a nice decoration and the waiter was very kind! However the food was a real deception. We ordered a starter that arrived 40 min later. The main dishes were completely cold (even fried calamares) and the portions were really small. The price was extravagant for the quality of the food.

6.5/10Good appetizers, especially the octopus and roast beef. Main courses were disappointing; filete undercooked, barely warm, and very stringy, plasticky duck. The corvina was well prepared. We sent the filetes back to be cooked al punto and they came back again barely warm. Overall an underwhelming experience.

8.5/10Oasis in the middle of a residential area, i love to go there with my wife. the lunch menu is of a very good price for the quality that you wipl eat, the service is up to the best standard in Barcelona. At night the wood decoration provides a different cosy atmosfere. One of my favourite in Bonanova.
