I love this town and it’s a joy. This restaurant epitomizes all I hate in a restaurant. Overly worked food, terrible wine list and inattentive staff. Let’s focus on the food. Starter 1- anchovies I adore anchovies and particularly from Liguria. They were fine- marinaded and plump. Served with a mousse of nothing and three tiny Anchovies for 18 euros. Please. This is a scandal. My partners starter equally as pretentious and poor. We decided to share a main - beef cheeks. How on earth can you make beef cheeks taste of. nothing. Bland , dull. Tasteless dish. The wine they recommend was poor. A poor wine list. A very very disappointing restaurant

The setting is superb overlooking the sea. The gastronomic menu is full of creative delights, but not super fancy. We were given brilliant and knowledgeable service. The menu at €65 is incredible value.

First meal was served before the wine was served, the food was more special then “really” good and the bread was dry… Also - there was no question regarding if the food was ok.

The appetizer of "crispy octopus" was a little disappointing. It wasn't crispy at all - I am wondering if they mean another English word rather than that one. It also wasn't particularly flavorful and the textures of the dish overall seemed confusing. Mushy vegetable mash underneath, very solid meaty octopus and some super thin strips of sort of melted vegetables on top. The main course of "fish of the day their way" was outstanding. Crispy(!) skin, luscious flavorful fish and lovely accompaniments. It was almost as if these two dishes were cooked by different people. The wine list is great, the view is wonderful, the service excellent, the atmosphere is super good - especially the lighting (which is not easy). The music/muzak though doesn't set a consistent tone and why it has to be vintage American soul and Andrew Lloyd Webber, I don't know. Chances are if you order something other than the octopus, you'll have a great meal. (I didn't have dessert.)

Wow……what an amazing find! Having discovered Lerici earlier in the week we were advised to also visit Tellaro. Having researched the seafood restaurants I decided to book La Barca and was delighted I did. I can honestly say it is one of the best meals we have ever eaten! We a frito misto,

The rooftop restaurant in the centre of Tellaro has a great view and atmosphere. The meny was a good mix of seafood and you could Get any of them as a starter, main or second dish. It all tastes really good and the service is attentive and Nice and a bit rushed. Prises are quite high but felt it was worth it.

Amazing place with a spirit of an ancient city and lovely vivid sea view. Staff is attentive and friendly. Food was just excellent! We had octopus, sea bass, serloin beef, crema catalana, white house wine, etc. All was GEEAT!
