We were there for our last night in Nice, celebrating our 30th anniversary. We do not speak French, and they did not speak English, but we communicated well enough to have a fantastic evening and a spectacular meal. Excellent!

The restaurant has a really nice view of the Nice Port. We had mussels, they were tasty. Other than that it is an ordinary restaurant, nothing special.

We had excellent seafood pasta, service was quick. Nice evening sun.

The service was okay but they weren't great about allergies. The food was fine, the meat dish we got was cooked well done despite asking for medium rare. But it's a darn pretty location and the prices were reasonable.

We dined there before many years ago so it was a nostalgia visit for us. They no longer have proffterol for dessert but it's down on the Marina andless toristic!

The waiter was either sick or very drunk, and every time he talked to us, he asked the same question: "Where are you from? "this question has been asked at least three times!!! The menu shows Happy Hour from 17-19, we sat down at the table at 17:50, the waiter said happy hour is over! We ordered oysters, they were excellent, but it wasn't the chef's fault, we had a glass of wine and mussels. The mussels were the size of peas)) The most interesting thing is, the waiter brought the bill without a 20℅ discount of 59.20€, when I showed him The Fork reservation, he changed the bill to 50.20 €, but added 9.80 €, citing the service fee!

Concernant notre collaborateur, oui il a des petites difficultés, bien connues de tous, c'est une personne avec une petite déficience mentale peut-être ? Nous lui dirons, qu'il n'a que à devenir normal ;-) Ensuite, les -20 % , vous n'avez que à le préciser quand vous arrivez mais comme c'est bien écrit sur votre réservation c'est hors menus spéciaux , donc hors happy hour ! Par ailleurs, donc vous venez au restaurant pour avoir 20 % de remise et également l'happy hour ? Nous n'avons qu'à mettre la clé sous la porte directement. merci pour notre travail et pour terminer, oui les moules sont très très bonnes et c'est un peu grâce à nous car nous commandons de l'excellente qualité ;-) Mais nous allons pour vous, choisir de la moins bonne qualité, et vous les faire à moitié prix comme c'est le prix que vous cherchez ? au plaisir de vous revoir

Bad service. The waitress was not good with mathematics and took long time for bill

We only are half of our pasta ( servings are large which is nice), but there was a lot left and we asked then to put it or bring us a box for take home but they threw it away and there was no apology or offer to make another serving for take away..

One waiter (the other one not so) was really helpful in finding us a table outside as with this reservation, apparently your place will be inside which is too warm for these times. The food was really tasty and delicious.

Everything over-cooked!
La Barque Bleuepersonne ne dit cela ! et franchement c'est méchant de prendre le temps de nous mettre une si mauvais note! est ce que vous savez le travail qu'il y a derrière un restaurant ? je suis sure que non , parce qu'à ce rythme, il ne restera que des grandes chaines de restauration américaine !

Although we saw high recommendations for this restaurant, it was not all that great! My husband found part of a scouring pad wire in his pasta dish. The waiter said nothing, but just took his dish away, not offering anything else to eat? Waiter was a bit odd. We tried to get out of there as soon as possible, when the check came they gave a 20% discount on his meal, which doesn't really matter?? Needless to say, this is not my type of restaurant. We know why this restuarant at this location wasn't busier like the other on this block. I would not recommend at all.

All in all a disappointment, especially given the ratings that we reviewed prior to the booking. This was an overpriced “tourist” restaurant but in a prime spot next to the harbour. The kids menu chicken bites seemed stale or pre cooked and the pizza layered with so much cheese it had to be removed. The “recommended” red wine 50cl 14% was not what one would expect from South France not drinkable.

I had the seafood soup. It was tasty but personally, I would prefer less squid and mussels and more prawns and fish. The service was delightful though. Waiters were super friendly and helpful (despite my poor french). Pretty view of the port if you sit outside. I had a good experience here.

We didn’t have big hopes but it was a disaster! When we arrived there were a big line with people who were waiting for their reservations. And visibly there were no tables! Everyone gathered inside between the tables where other customers were sitting, the staff (except the waiter) were very rude avoiding people and questions about reservations. “Manager” person who should definitely stop her career was just pretending that she is busy and avoiding any questions and some of them were just switching to French pretending they don’t understand English. Few groups of people just got their deposits back and left - what a way to ruin the New Year celebration! We got our table far from the heaters outside, so it was almost impossible to sit there. Food tasted like leftovers and some people waited for dishes for hours! We regretted that we didn’t ask for our money back, would be better just to get a pizza and eat it in the hotel! This place should never organize any events and should definitely change a manager!

Nice restaurant on the port, kind staff, attentive and caring; food was good although it was a special set menu for Xmas, so I can’t comment on all items on the menu. Nice atmosphere, relaxed clientele. R

+1Excellent food a great service by our waitress Hend. We visited on a music night with set menu and it was great value for money. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food was excellent and reasonable for Nice. You’d spend more in Prezzo for 2 pizzas and a bottle of house red!

Very personable waiter. He allowed us to sit wherever we wanted, as it wasn’t busy. Checked in with us numerous times to make sure the food was good, which it was.

Shame the place was heaving with England rugby fans- staff were run off their feet and we received two out of our 4 dishes…. 45 mins later, the next two appeared..

Lovely meal in a wonderful setting. Lively but very comfortable. Would highly recommend. We were a group of 4 adults, we had four main courses, two juices and two beers and the bill was €111. Very good value in this location. The squid and lobster linguine was delicious and all were very happy with their meals.

Food nice, great to sit next to the port but the service just fell apart. We arrived at 7:30pm and were eating our main course at 9pm then when it came to deserts we ordered for our children and ourselves, the children's turned up but half an hour later we were still waiting for our deserts.

We did not enjoy the food as there was tons of sand in every bite of the clam pasta and the seafood pasta. Definitely overpriced for uncleaned seafood. Service was okay but it seemed that they were very short staffed.

The food was subpar at best. It was a tourist trap. The service was great and it was a beautiful location but there are better spots for French cuisine and seafood. Hopefully, it was a one time bad experience.
