10/10Had a wonderful dinner here last night. We decided to have several starters rather than a main course, and they were all delicious. Onion tart was exceptional, as were salads and onion soup. The place is small but with a lively atmosphere; it was packed. Great service, despite a small staff and every table occupied. Really enjoyed it!

9/10This was lovely Paris restaurant serving fabulous regional food from Gascony accompanied by a good range of french regional wines. Well worth a return visit, if only we weren’t moving on tomorrow. But if you are in the area try it. You won’t be disappointed

6.5/10Nice ambiance. Lots of sausage dishes for 25 euros. Very basic food at surprisingly high prices. I've been a few times before but this was the last time. Relaxed service. They were very patient when my date arrived 45 minutes late.

10/10A warm welcome, interesting menu, good quality food and fine cooking - the fish was perfectly done. The restaurant quickly filled up with a mix of all age groups and had a lively energy. We were there on a Monday so I think you need to book to be sure to get in. From the photos on the wall and the relaxed but efficient staff this definitely felt like a family run business. Thoroughly recommended.

4.5/10We went there based on all the extraordinary reviews. The menu was a hodgepodge of dishes. They were out of the best steak on the menu. The eggplant parmigiana was inedible .

10/10Absolutely great evening in this nice restaurant. They run out of beef this day cause we arrived late in the evening but the Pavé de Cochon was no let down at all and was more than tasty.

9.5/10The food at the restaurant was incredibly good! We wanted to try french food and it was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite. The only downside for us was the fact that you eat literally next to other people. Tables are too close to each other. But overall, amazing restaurant. Really loved it!

10/10We went as a group of 6 girls and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. We had a little bit of French between us and they were so happy to help translate the menu into English for us. The food was exceptional, stand out dishes were the ribs and apple tart that were both specials. The atmosphere was lovely, like being a guest in someone’s home and the rest of the crowd in there were Parisians who created a really lovely vibe. Thanks so much for a fantastic evening, we will be back! X

10/10Booked at the last minute and glad we did. Proper little French restaurant tucked away in a side street. Small menu but the daily slate is longer! Young servers all knew their stuff, spoke perfect English and were a pleasure. Recommended!

6/10Generally good food but not worth the price. Tables were waaaayyyy toooooo near each other and it felt more squashed up like a typical friends gathering, except we weren’t friends with our close by neighbours. Service is alright, some staff are more smiley than others which doesn’t help put the service at an equal high standard. Would not visit again.

8/10Quaint French restaurant with a farm to table concept. Friendly staff. My wife enjoyed her onion soup. She liked the flavors but wished she had more cheese. Her meatballs were delicious although she didn’t enjoy the raisins like I did. My pork was good but perhaps it was grass feed hence a bit too lean having less fat. We enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend it.

9.5/10This is an excellent restaurant with very good food and atmosphere. Be sure to make reservation ahead of time. Otherwise, you will need to wait in a long line or might not be able to get in.

10/10Such a great restaurant, we even went twice during our stay! The onion soup and the bruschetta were absolutely amazing. The staff were all very nice and translated the menu for us if we didn’t understand. It was a very nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

10/10We had a delightful experience here at La Becane a Gaston. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary in Paris and this turned out to be perfect. The dishes we ordered cooked to perfection. The service was great and the staff was cordial and helped us translate menu items. Everything was very nice.

10/10Relatively uncomplicated but nonetheless utterly delicious dishes, made with love from high-quality fresh ingredients. This is my kind of restaurant. The menu is short but not too short; the specials board thoroughly tempting; the prices very reasonable; the wine list excellent whilst remaining good value; and the service charming, knowledgeable, just attentive enough, and above all unfailingly patient with my schoolboy French. Outstanding. P.S. Make sure you reserve! There were people queuing for our table when we left!
