9.5/10We were staying at Hotel Sant’Angelo so this was very convenient and there was also 10% off as we were hotel guests. We dined here twice as we had enjoyed it so much. We had the Saltimbocca alla Romana both times. The staff were friendly and spoke English which was helpful for us as our Italian is limited. The service was quick and the food good. If I was staying nearby again I would definitely go back.

10/10Two thumbs up. Good selection, excellent quality, good presentation, reasonable prices. We enjoyed it. Owner greets you, and takes pride in his product. Will return.

7.5/10The food and staff are great but the noise levels were quite high so it was difficult to enjoy ourselves. Maybe could be ameliorated by having a few less tables.

10/10Lovely restaurant with amazing food. My son has an allergy to cheese and they were amazing and changed the menu for him. Very good price. Would definitely recommend.

10/10Excellent place to eat. You can eat inside or outside . We preferred to eat outside and it was lovely . The food was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was a great little pace of the beaten track.

9.5/10Our first night in Rome and it started with an amazing meal at La Berninetta. The service was fantastic, everyone was very friendly, explaining the menu, making recommendations and clearly taking great pride in their food which was all delicious. The ravioli was the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this place!!

4.5/10Food was really bland and plain. I ordered salmon and it was a piece of grilled fish on a tasteless bed of fennel and a large side of green lettuce with no dressing or seasoning. Expensive for what it was .

7.5/10Nice spot recommended by the hotel. Service was great. Most of the food was good. However, the bread that was provided at the start of the meal was substandard. Really enjoyed the pizza and Caprese salad.

10/10This restaurant was a great find! The food was delicious and the service outstanding. As we didn't understand the menu (all in Italian ), the manager (owner?) came over and explained each dish, how it was prepared, and paired the right wine choice!

10/10Excellent food at an excellent value. Wine recommendations were spot on. Definitely the place to go to try authentic Roman dishes. Don’t miss out on the apple pie dessert.

4/10Not great if you’re a tourist. Charged double for a substitute bottle of wine! Allergy be careful as waiters don’t know what’s actually in the dish.

10/10The menu at this restaurant had a lot of variety on it. The waiter was extremely attentive and helped us make some great food selections. We were a party of 9 & sat outside. We didn’t feel crowded & there wasn’t a lot of foot traffic around us.

10/10The waiter was really helpful. Explained the menu, with wine pairing which was deliciousness (and suggested a wine €9 budget our stated budget). Starters were well recommended and really good (artichoke, zucchini, rice balls). Pizza was thin/crisp base and full of flavour/ topping. Dessert was very generous. Really good food and good value for money.

10/10We sought out La Berninetta in hopes of finding authentic Roman cuisine, and we were not disappointed. The owner welcomed us personally and made sure we were taken care of like family, even though we don't speak Italian and were clearly the only non-local, non-regulars in the restaurant. The service was outstanding, but the food was the star. A few ingredients in each dish, treated lovingly, with magical results. Every dish was perfect, and even our teenagers loved every bite. We can't recommend La Berninetta enough!!

10/10This was the most charming and delicious meal of our 10-day stay in Rome, and so exceptional on every level that we returned for a second meal. Everything was superb: the food, the service, the wine choices, and the atmosphere.

10/10I made a reservation for here on the fork app for my husband and I's one year anniversary; and I made a note of it being our anniversary on the app, because why not? I just wanted to make sure we had a definite place to eat that night. Throughout our Italian vacation, we had been trying to find food that was more than good...amazing. Everything was great, just not exceptional. La Berninetta was exceptional. And they were very nice when it came to our anniversary. They surprised us with a cheesecake and a sparkling drink. Very sweet and generous ????

10/10This restaurant brought us everything we expected from a dinner in Rome. The ambiance, staff and food were all per-fect. We loved the fact that the menu was in Italian and the owner came by and really took the time to explain everything in English. This made us feel like we’d escaped tourist Rome and landed in true, honest and superb Italian gastronomy. And last but not least: excellent value for money!

10/10Amazing food and amazing service. Toni was so nice and just a pleasure to talk to, he translated the whole menu and gave us his recommendations. I’m not one to repeat a restaurant on holiday but I’m going back for sure! It was the best one so far in Rome!

10/10We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered.The restaurant was busy and you could see all tables of people were content. Service was prompt,explanations of dishes were good.Their specialty is Roman dishes ;fried vegetables and artichokes,beautiful Roman pizza, pasta from the region , meats and fish. Locals were there which is always a good sign!

10/10This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is traditional Roman, cooked and presented with real passion, and is marvellous. I will gladly return one day. Excellent value, and real find.
