10/10Staff were very friendly from the moment we entered the restaurant. The decor is fun with money stuck on the walls. We added to the collection. The food was cooked perfectly. A great experience.

5/10We booked for 7 at 5:30pm - early. I sent a message via FORK to ask if we could bring champagne. NO response. Left a message on the voicemail, NO response. When we arrived, despite the restaurant not being busy as it was early for dinner, they did not have our table ready for us. Then we had to ASK to order drinks, ASK to order dinner, we never got ASKED for a second drink, I had to ASK them to clear our plates despite there being FOUR waiters 5 meters away just chatting. The food was ok and had the service been reasonable, I would have said it was worth visiting. Big disapointment. Also NO soap in ladies room, obviously was not checked.

7.5/10The service was good, staff great. The food was not great. Calamari was not well fried. Grilled mushrooms almost raw, even after sending them back to be grilled again! Peppers ordered by two guests sharing tapas never arrived and we were then later told that they were out that night. Steak was very good - as to be expected. Excellent wine and a perfect birthday dessert!

2/10A one-star rating for La Boca is too generous. The food was generally awful—poor quality and taste—and the service was terrible. Our waiter seemed to think he was bestowing some great favor on us by serving us. First the wine, an essential at any tapas restaurant. They offered fewer than ten different wines, all but one from South America, which is not a bad thing except that I am allergic to something in SA wines. No problem; the other wine was a Crianza from La Rioja, Spain, one of our favorite wine regions. It was almost tasteless. We ordered bread and olives and an order of mussels. If La Boca deserves even one star, it was for the mussels—a generous portion of garlicky, meaty morsels. The bread was grocery-store average, and the olives were salad olives right out of a jar. To give them another chance, we ordered the meat empanadas; the pastry crust was commendable, but the meat stuffing was unappealing. Time to leave! Don’t judge this book by its cover: the photo the restaurant displays online looks, in low light, like a cool, swanky bar where you’d want to hang out for the evening. I was shocked when I walked in the door; I thought we were in the wrong place, but then realized this run-down, run-of-the-mill tourist trap required low light to hide its Golden Corral interior. Such a waste of space. I don’t know how this restaurant earned an average of 4.7 stars, but please don’t judge tapas restaurants by this fake.

8/10My wife and I found this restaurant through Google. This place is small but the service is good. One thing they did forget our chicken wings order until we reminded them. Food price and quality is decent. We only ordered tapas because we are not a big eater.

3/10Would not recommend this place. Undercooked food. Lazy staff, unable to smile. Had a mojito with pulverized mint, like having a soup. Trying to rip us off with the bill. Everything you expect from a place like this. Don't go.

2/10The staff kept arguing with eachother, burgers were raw after being asked twice to cook them more there was no difference and we ended up just picking at the fries and finishing our drinks and then left. Utterly disappointed!

10/10Excellent service and food! The staff was awesome and even assisted with food choices. I recommend highly. Seating is great for small groups (ours was 10) where everyone can actually hear each other and carry on a conversation.

4.5/10We went because of the amazing reviews on the food, but was fairly disappointed. We ordered the rib eye, mashed potatoes, and the chicken schnitzel with a baked potatoe. There was no seasoning on any of the items and was extremely bland. I also ordered a margarita and it tasted like sour mix with a drop of tequila. If you like very plain, bland food, then this is the place for you but we had to douse everything in salt and pepper to make it have any taste.
