La Botte Antica was centrally located among the old streets of Rome. The menu is extensive and provides for a wonderful selection of fresh selections. The Lasagna that my wife ordered just melted in your mouth with an explosion of flavor that was surprisingly light and not heavy. Caprese salad for me was a simple dish pulled off to perfection as an appetizer. For me, the Seafood Spaghetti was presented in a light Bolognese sauce with fresh prawns, mussels, and clams. A bottle of the house Chianti made our night pleasant and memorable in Rome!

We eat here every time we are in Rome at least twice. The pasta is delicious. The pizza is very good. The service is exceptional. My wife and I ate here 13 years ago just by chance and we found it again two years ago when we were back with our children. This is now a highlight of our trip to Rome the rigatoni alla grigia is awesome as is the carbonara. We always request the same table and they are a very accommodating

We should have known just based on the location and presentation, but the foccacia was pitiful, the pizza undercooked, and the zucchini flowers over battered and looking like zepoli. the pasta wasnt terrible, but we expected more from any restaurant in Rome.

The service was good, but the food was poor. Lasagne was simply the pasta with next to no sauce. The risotto was below average and no prawns. They were mean with all the parts of the dish that make the dish special. It looks good from the outside, but would never go again.

Everyone is super friendly, it was my husband and I and they sat us in this little sub section in the restaurant across from the kitchen but it allowed us some privacy from the rest of the restaurant which we enjoyed y one thing though is it was a little too warm for my liking even for dinner not sure if because of where we were sat or if it was just the restaurant as a whole, regardless we enjoyed the food; we had a calamari appetizer which was delicious! For dinner I had a clam pasta which was delicious my husband is baking and opted for the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken which he said was yummy! We had drinks, a mojito and he has some beers which he enjoyed! Can’t wait to go back!

La Botte Antica is a family owned trattoria in the heart of Rome. It has a cozy feel and the staff is very friendly. The food we had was excellent! I ordered the Roma trio of pasta, which gave me the opportunity to taste 3 classic Roman pasta sauces: Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara and Amatriciana. All were delizioso! Their Tiramisu is also "perfetto". I highly recommend this restaurant when in Rome.

This is our second trip to Rome. We enjoyed our meal so much the first time we made a booking again on our return.Highly recommended staff are very attentive and food is excellent.

Great place next to Sistina Theater. Very pleasant and efficient waiting staff. Appetizers were fresh and well prepared, in particular the Roman artichokes. We had a Cappriciosa pizza, thin crust, perfectly cooked, and a delicious Sacher torte for dessert. Wines are resonably priced. Highly recommended.

The food was pretty good, also the wine of the house. Its wasn't that expensive and the quality of the food was good. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't paying much attention to us at the end anymore.

Our best meal in Rome based on not only the food and wine, but especially our waiter. He was truly exceptional. Our family of 6 was immediately seated. The restaurant was filled with locals. The discount by using TheFork made a good value a great value.
