Everything about this place is perfect! From the wine shop above to the restaurant to the kitchen. Always make a stop at this beautiful place each visit to Montepulchiano.

La Bottega del Nobile is one of the best restaurants I have ever experienced. It was absolutely sensational from the moment we arrived. The staff were excellent and their attentive service was friendly and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, wine and drinks. This restaurant deserves Michelin stars. I would recommend it to everyone who has the pleasure to visit Montepulciano. We dined there on Friday 8th August. Many thanks again La Botega xx

10/10Beautiful inventive local dishes in a relaxed elegant atmosphere. Great wine list with personal, attentive service from the sommelier and the rest of the staff. La Bottega del Nobile is the best of both worlds: sophisticated but very down to earth and friendly. Reasonably priced.

7.5/10The service was excellent. The wine I had was for my taste the best wine I had during my two week trip in Italy. The major drawback was the fish I ordered. It was cooked in a dough salt on one side, why the chef even used this method made no sense to me because could not eat the dough and it was a waste of the salt. Literally the fish was a few bites and was not something home to write about with the cooking technique the chef incorporated. For the value of the fish charged, it was not worth it.

10/10This was our favorite restaurant of our entire trip! The service, the food, and the ambiance were delightful! Our pici pasta was amazing, and we had the most wonderful time. Highly recommend and will definitely come again next time we are back in Tuscany!

I didn't expect to receive a 30% discount even though I made a reservation in advance, but they applied the discount to me upon confirmation of my reservation. It was a very dramatic restaurant and I was able to end the day with a decent dinner.

Gourmet food and superior food. The pasta and dessert were amazing, and wow what wine! Beautiful atmosphere with charming tables outside. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Did I mention that they ship wine?!

10/10This amazing gem in Montepulciano was incredible. The manage was very accommodating to the changing size of our reservation and a gracious host, and that was just the start. The food was delicious and every dish was a piece of fine art. The presentations were amazing, the Chef is a culinary genius, and the Sommelier was so knowledgeable and entertaining! We had an unforgettable evening.

2.5/10The entire experience was horrible. The waitress acted like it was a chore to be there. She brought us the wrong wine and an entree with the starters. When told that was an entree and not a starter she looked at us like we were dumb and walked away, not to be seen from for the rest of the night. My entree was not edible. For the cost of the items I expected a much higher caliber of food and service. It was, by far, the worst dining experience I have ever had. The only redeeming factor was that they comped both entrees but that was the bare minimum.

Dear, we are not surprised by your review. Your presence was embarrassing for us too. We are used to welcoming nicer guests. We are lucky to have such a clientele. Maybe you wanted to be treated like tourists but that's not our philosophy. Our good waitress was surprised how incapable a grown person was to handle both emotionally and practically the order of a dish. It was very unpleasant staring at her badly during the evening without saying why, if not at the last. We offered you 3 glasses of wine from a different vintage, the second course you had ordered with the appetizers (sigh) and the girl's dish were deducted from the bill. No regrets in showing our interest in making you spend a pleasant evening as we have no regrets in knowing that you will never come back. Best regards

10/10The team paid excellent attention to my gluten allergy and had unique options for me. Gnocchi with duck and orange sauce, a variety of gluten free bread, and a hazelnut cheesecake dessert. It was very tasty and a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for those with gluten allergies, as it isn't always easy to find a place with interesting GF menu items, if at all. Reservations are recommended in these busy towns, particularly if you have dietary challenges.

10/10Lovely warm evening with great food and service. Only disappointing part was the credit card trick of not being given a choice of paying in your home currency which immediately increases the bill by almost 5%
