I didn't expect to receive a 30% discount even though I made a reservation in advance, but they applied the discount to me upon confirmation of my reservation. It was a very dramatic restaurant and I was able to end the day with a decent dinner.

Gourmet food and superior food. The pasta and dessert were amazing, and wow what wine! Beautiful atmosphere with charming tables outside. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Did I mention that they ship wine?!

During our Tuscany visit we were pleased to be at this amazing restaurant, food, service and ambience are unique, we highly recommend this place, for sure one of the top ones in the Tuscany area. If we will visit Montepulciano again, for sure we will be there. 10/10

This amazing gem in Montepulciano was incredible. The manage was very accommodating to the changing size of our reservation and a gracious host, and that was just the start. The food was delicious and every dish was a piece of fine art. The presentations were amazing, the Chef is a culinary genius, and the Sommelier was so knowledgeable and entertaining! We had an unforgettable evening.

The entire experience was horrible. The waitress acted like it was a chore to be there. She brought us the wrong wine and an entree with the starters. When told that was an entree and not a starter she looked at us like we were dumb and walked away, not to be seen from for the rest of the night. My entree was not edible. For the cost of the items I expected a much higher caliber of food and service. It was, by far, the worst dining experience I have ever had. The only redeeming factor was that they comped both entrees but that was the bare minimum.

Dear, we are not surprised by your review. Your presence was embarrassing for us too. We are used to welcoming nicer guests. We are lucky to have such a clientele. Maybe you wanted to be treated like tourists but that's not our philosophy. Our good waitress was surprised how incapable a grown person was to handle both emotionally and practically the order of a dish. It was very unpleasant staring at her badly during the evening without saying why, if not at the last. We offered you 3 glasses of wine from a different vintage, the second course you had ordered with the appetizers (sigh) and the girl's dish were deducted from the bill. No regrets in showing our interest in making you spend a pleasant evening as we have no regrets in knowing that you will never come back. Best regards

The team paid excellent attention to my gluten allergy and had unique options for me. Gnocchi with duck and orange sauce, a variety of gluten free bread, and a hazelnut cheesecake dessert. It was very tasty and a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for those with gluten allergies, as it isn't always easy to find a place with interesting GF menu items, if at all. Reservations are recommended in these busy towns, particularly if you have dietary challenges.

The service, food and wine were excellent. The restaurant has multiple levels but was only serving from the street level on the night we were there. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. Great location at the beginning of the walk into town on the right.

Lovely warm evening with great food and service. Only disappointing part was the credit card trick of not being given a choice of paying in your home currency which immediately increases the bill by almost 5%

Did not meet our expectation after been to other similar restaurants in Montepulciano/Toscany before.. Many listed menues not available. Food quality and taste okay. Bread and oil very delicious. Location nice. Service good.

.Kind Susanne, "food quality and taste okay, bread and oil very delicious, location nice and service good" seems to us to be a good basis for satisfaction and even if she was not fully satisfied we are sorry. For the Menu as we explained to you at the table there were no shortcomings but simply replacements for the change that we make every two months to follow the seasonality of the products so the menu was complete. We are in Tuscany for quite a while, so that was nice to get some very good and not really typical Tuscany food. We have had some nice starters and also chicken and a cod for the main courses and we were nicely surprised. Of course, their wine shop add a value to it

Skip this spot unless you are a big wine buyer. The food was bland and portions small. The staff seemed stilted and awkward. We were drawn to this spot because we had seen the lovely downstairs space. We asked to be seated there and were denied yet there was only one party down there the whole evening. After we were seated an American couple came in with an Italian couple who seemed to be entertaining them. All eyes were on that group and the wine kept arriving. We felt as if we had been placed in that location merely so the room would not be empty and our meal was terrible to boot.

This venue was superb. The atmosphere is so special. It is tastefully decorated and well set out. The food was incredible. Beautifully presented and the flavours were exceptional. I particularly loved that dishes we ordered to be shared were presented as if they were individual orders. The girls who served our table were wonderful. They spoke good English, were fun and interacted with us brilliantly. This is possibly my new favourite restaurant.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is great, and the staff was helpful. I got the pici and my husband ordered a steak - both were excellent. After, our waiter even called a taxi for us so we did not have to hunt for one (which was so kind). We stayed outside of town, but this was a convenient place for dinner.
