10/10A cosy and small place, not a real restaurant but a bottega with local products and specialities. Very kind staff, we enjoyed talking to Lorenzo. We got great service, good wine, fresh food and an unforgettables alame al cioccolato con cantucci. Very good varietu of vegetarian dishes as well.

10/10Cosy little restaurant close to the main River in Florence. Antony and the rest of the staff made my family and I feel very welcome and helped us to enjoy a value for money meal which included lots of delicious local dishes. The service was really good, as was the pricing and the location. I'd happily recommend the restaurant to further family and friends.

7/10A small restaurant, with charming decor. The woman at the desk was friendly & welcoming, the food was good, but the waiter was curt, almost silent, bordering on rude. We wondered what we could have done to offend him— ruined a pleasant experience, we skipped dessert.

9/10Visited with my bf in our trip to Firenze. Really charming place, with the sweetest tomatoes we tried during our stay and a "torta della nona" cake to die for. In general, the food was tasty with a home made essence to it. The best aspect of this place though is the owner; genuinely outgoing and nice to be around. I do recommend visiting!

10/10We were here for “date night” during a Florence weekend. We had some cold cuts, ribollina, the roasted pork, lasagna, a bit of everything. We instantly felt very welcomed, as the ambiance is very familiar and authentic. We totally “vibed” with the staff from the beginning. The food was delicious and came in fair portions. We spent here several hours just eating and enjoying the wine, the food and the place in general. We were in other places the days after but honestly, we should just have come back here, this one was by far the best one. I loved this place and I want to come back ????????

10/10My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant on a whim (new to The Fork) and weren't sure what to expect - but were SO incredibly thrilled with our choice! The service was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was very welcoming and intentional to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. We ordered three different pasta dishes, the tiramisu, and had two glasses of wine and all were INCREDIBLE! Not to mention, all for under 50 euros! Our favorites were the Pesto Gnocchi and the Lasagna :) We both highly recommend heading to La Bottega di via Maggio during your time in Florence.

7.5/10We came here as it was nearby and on a 50% discount promotion. The photos and reviews did not really match the cafe/winebar. The staff were friendly and welcoming to begin with. However, there were only 2 tables, a tiny menu and service was very very slow. We had to ask for the bill several times, and when we attempted to pay at the till the staff got frustrated and we were encouraged to wait at the table. A bit of an odd experience!

10/10This is up there with the best food we’ve had on our trip so far. The staff are passionate about their food and it shows in the quality that was served up. The 2 of us ordered Panzanella, Lasagne, Porchetta with Potatoes and a Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli which were all absolutely delicious. Generally we would share a dessert however the food was of such high quality, we had to get one each (Tiramisu and a Torte del Nonna). Delicious. We did get a discount through the Fork however we would 100% return and pay full price next time. Shame it’s our final night in Florence or we would be back tomorrow for more. If you’re looking for local Tuscan food served by the friendliest of locals who care so much about what they put on your table…. Then please do yourself a favour and give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

10/10Surprise! Small, unnoticable pearl at the bridge of Santa Trinita. Excellent kitchen, tight but through-thought menu with outstanding service and wine knowedge. Highly recommended!

10/10We stopped in on our way to a concert at Villa Bardini, and we had a tasty and beautiful taglieri of salumi and cheese, with a Spritz and a glass of wine. Excellent food. Super friendly staff. We sat at a cute table by the window. We will be back!

10/10We were looking for a quick bite after a long day touring Tuscany. This little restaurant ended up being the best dining experience we had while in Florence. Best lasagna I’ve ever had, Only locals, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and gracious. Hidden gem.

10/10We had THE BEST time here! Delicious food and such a fun set of brothers running the place. Service was a tad slow but it is ITALY! It’s the way, so just go in knowing that. The food was amazing and we had lovely chats with both brother working that evening. A great place that’s super close to a main bridge but feels a little off the beaten path and authentic. We closed out the restaurant and finished a bottle limoncello with the brothers! Maybe our fave restaurant of our Florence visit!
