Once again my wife and I had a wonderful visit to Le Cabane. The welcome that we received when we arrived was terrific; immediately a happy atmosphere was created. We were shown to our table and the menu was explained (in both French and English). After an aperitif our meal was served. The food was amazing. The food, service and ambiance combined to give us another memorable experience - one which we will repeat on our next visit to Burgundy.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant! The food is amazing (especially the entrees/starters), and the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Can't wait to be back in France to visit them again.

We have loved La Cabane since it first opened. The food is simple but clever. The atmosphere convivial. Today's service was a little 'ragged' though the young server was very keen to please. Thank-you, as always, for a delicious 'interval' in our day. Di Murrell

This bistro is in a lovely location and has a really buzzy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the food is wholesome!

Great place, very relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent a very nice and diverse menu. Food and drinks are very well priced. Definitely value for money. I would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly English speaking staff. Did get busy and we had to ask for our wine and bread when the main dishes came. Very casual and would be good with childen. Food was very good

A lovely casual place to eat in a relaxed way. My only remarks for improvement are, the inside area became very smoky as the cooking station is just outside and the smoke comes inside, but it got sorted by opening the windows, luckily, it was a nice and warm day. The WC facility is the public automatic WC installed by the village town hall, and is convenient enough but if it is going to be used by the restaurant, then it is the restaurant's responsibility to make sure that there is always toilet paper and soap non stop, they must check regularly the state of those two items. Other from that, we had some of the best burgers in Burgundy there (no sweet "onions confit" inside it but fresh onions as it should be). The gambas dish could have a fourth prawn. We still had a lovely lunch and time, relaxing and peaceful.

The team at La Cabane was outstanding. We were celebrating a gathering of over 30 guests for our daughter’s wedding nearby and this dinner was the perfect way to begin our celebration. The menu and wine were spectacular. Thank you all so much for the beautiful time! We cannot wait to return!

The quirky setting intrigued us and the link to the Michelin starred restaurant Ed.Em was also appealing. When we arrived we were not kept waiting; we were met with a smile and shown to a table almost immediately. This level of service continued throughout the meal. The menu was limited but there was sufficient choice to satisfy our needs and when the food arrived our expectations were surpassed. The wine list was extensive (as one would expect in this area. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our visit at a cost which did not break the bank.

Summer evening in a little park in Chassangne. Good food. Good choice of drinks. We were back there after 5 years and were a little afraid of disappointments because we had high expectations. Everything lived up to our expectations.

The food was ok-ish but the fact that the restaurant doesn’t have a restroom and asks guests to use one and only public toilet in the park is not acceptable. The service was slow and not very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our lunch. The food was good and the price correct. It's a simple lunch but that's what we wanted. The house wine by the glass was also good.

Simple, honest food! Excellent venue for a family/close friend meal during a fine eve!
