The reservation system is a disaster. You need to make a reservation for the reservation. After multiple visits, its the same story...they can never accomodate any requested size or time. They claim to be always overbooked *"this time" really over over booked) yet again for the 4th time we saw multiple tables go empty. Their system is a MESS and just not handles by professionals. The service is also the same. Various people covering the tables. At times no one can be found and at other times, 3 different people will come to take the same drink orders. The tragic part is that the food is AMAZING. The kitchen is excellent. Best Argentinean food in Barcelona! But the front of house is just an utter disaster. Hope ownership can make some changes as we would love to come back but after 4 times of the same chaos, even the great food is not worth the headache.

Food – The meat was excellent (as you would expect for the price). – The patatas bravas were disappointing – several were undercooked and we would have been better off ordering fries Service The service from our waiter was lacking for a restaurant of this level and his behaviour repeatedly disrupted the table. At one point, he dropped (yes, dropped) a takeaway bag onto the middle of the table while we were mid-conversation and walked off, completely obscuring the vision of myself and my dining companion and jolting us out of the moment. The same careless approach happened with the lollipops. Simple attentiveness and basic table awareness were missing. Despite asking twice about a menu for desserts or teas, he failed to listen. We eventually had to ask another staff member for help. I’ve worked in high-end restaurants and this level of service completely undermined the experience. Conclusion I would return for the meat only but I think there are other places to go in the city

We had a reservation for 3:30pm and since they were doing cleanup for their afternoon break they rushed our meal. The waiters were a bit short with us and would remove plates without asking if we were done with our meal. We asked if we could join our table with another empty table for more space as part of the plates where the meat was served was hanging past the edge of the table (they did not fit in the table) and they said no (clearly they did not want to have to deal with tidying up another table). Why offer a reservation for 3:30 if you are not going to be able to provide proper service?

La Cabrera was outstanding. The empanadas as a starter were very good. I really like the flavor accents they serve with them and the steaks, including special salt varieties. And we got a sampler of side dishes sides for the steaks which we enjoyed. And the steaks were so tender and flavorful: a delight. Service was excellent. We liked everything about our visit and dinner.

The ambience was nice, very good illumination and music not do loud. However, the tables are too little for two people, since the service includes some appetizers and the main dishes have their little grill is hard to eat with all that over the little table. Food and wine were good. Service could be more organized and and have a better attitude.
