best tryffel pasta! but maybe othet foods are good too.

La Caneva is a small authentic iltalian retaurant with delicios food. The wine was excellent and we had a wonderful experience.

Booked a table for 2, Really lovely atmosphere upstairs, the waiter took us downstairs in the the basement with just me and my girlfriend a few tables as if it was a backup room, freezing cold, no waiters nor music, we had to leave and eat at the hotel.

Delicious lentil soup and tagliatelle with smoked salmon. Fresh bread with olive oil topped off the offering. A nice homey restaurant with a chill vibe.

the resto needs a womens hand for decotartion. A candle, some painting, a new toilet, ...it has much potential but it feels cold... The food is good, but not beyond...
La CanevaWe are glad that you enjoyed our food and our service. You are right about the ambiente that could be more welcoming and cozy. In fact we are going to close for some days in january to do some works in order to have a more comfortable place to have some good italian food and wine. We will be happy to host you again in our restaurant once we have completed the work.

Appalling service, waited 25minutes to take a drinks order, 55mins later for food after they failed to put a simple pasta order through. Real shame ! Whoever owns this restaurant needs (if they care) to take a serious look at how they resource their front of house

We have been visiting the restaurant across several years, but on both visits this week, the main problem is that while the food looks fine, bith pasta dishes I ate, had absolutely no flavour, and the same for my partner's dish. There appears to be no garlic or any falvourings - which is somewhat reinfiorced by the lack of any tempting cooking smells when arriving. The service by the young staff was fine, but there is another who constantly looks miserable and is never friendly or smiling, or indeed, unwelcoming. We will not be returning.

Food was nuanced and fabulous. Burrata top notch. We had superb spinach ravioli and outstanding linguine Gorgonzola. House white wine great, too. Can’t go wrong here folks. Also: very ambient cave interior…would be even better with more subdued lighting in spots.

Everything was perfect. Moreover, this was the best pasta that I have ever had. Ravioli al truffo … pasta, filling and sauce … all exquisite.

Cute restaurant and food was fine, but we were disappointed based on other reviews. Overpriced for what it is. Menu and prices were also very different than what was listed online.
La CanevaHello, in Belgium and Europe on 31dec and 1st of january 'every restaurant and even bar's' change their prices. We had about 150 people in this 2 days and not a single person complained because is common sense like we explained at the table, even for regular costummers ! I wrote this mail not to argue but to educate you so next time you know ! With kind regards La Caneva

nice food - friendly atmosphere

Wonderful service and very delicious Italian food and wine with great ambience. Enjoyed our meal as a family of 5. Carbonara, truffle ravioli, lasagne, tiramisu. Great memories created over a beautiful meal.

Service was great at the start but fell off at the end. No dessert options offered. Maybe need extra serving staff as younger guy seemed to be left doing everything. Food was hearty and very tasty.

Very nice place and the staff were very pleasant. Be aware if you order anything that’s not on the menu. For example side salad. Always ask the cost. This restaurant is expensive but very nice. Would definitely return

We showed up as soon as they opened at 6:30 and were the first to arrive. The front waiter was friendly and took our order around 6:40. Food was good, not great. The owner was not very friendly. The worst part was that we did not get our food until 7:45. Three guests who came in after us weee served first. Hmm. Our kids eat plain pasta so we ordered that for them, but they cost just as much as my entree! They charged for water, and the wine pours were minimal. We won’t go back. Overly priced in my opinion.

My husband and I are traveling with 2 friends in Belgium. This restaurant was in our top 3 restaurants we ate at during our 10 day stay. It's a small and cozy restaurant. The staff was excellent and helpful. The veal Limone was delicious; the pasta was excellent and a nice wine list. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is perfect if you are looking for an nice and cozy atmosphere (be aware it’s quite small so you are sitting close to other people). The food was really good!

It was excellent. Great starter, great pasta, excellent dessert and super Nero D'avola! Let's not forget thé super friendly service! In short, thé place to be for pasta lovers.

Very tasty food - a good contrast to the alternatives we saw. Clearly food that was cooked on the premises from scratch. Shame about brussels though....
