everything was perfect, the waitress kind and helpful, the atmosphere colorful and warm, music not too loud still upbit and joyfull and the food tasty and warm, spiced beautifully with care and love. thank you for a beautiful evening.

Very good and cozy restaurant - also great decor. The food really takes you to Brazil as it tastes like home-made brazilian meals. Also very nice team and flexible on timings. Will go back there for sure.

The restaurant is one of my Brussels favourite's! The decoration is really beautiful and cosy, the staff is super friendly, kind and in a good mood, always welcoming everyone with a smile! The food is great and the caipirinha is a must!

The restaurant is located in a really quiet street very close to the Église Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours. It has several tables outside which are nicely decorated with Brasilian flag colors. Also internally there are different tables and Brasilian style decorations but I preferred to seat outside as it was good weather and very pleasant to stay. Service was quite quick to collect the order even though I had some problems cause I don't speak French and the waitress didn't speak English. Anyway, I managed to order a starter (codfish balls) and a main plate. I found the starter really good. For the main plate I was tempted by the Picanha but I finally opted for a Feijoada as I wanted to try a tipica plate (other than Picanha which I tried already). It was good but now I know that I definitely prefer Picanha :-) In summary, a really nice place with some good plates to explore.

Service was top. The waiter was very kind and ready to help. The Frango com manga was superrrr tasty, but we expected more from the vegetarian plate (also only 1 option in the menu… and the banana was very dry).

We had a really good evening. The food was great, very tasty and generous portions. The service was excellent, food being delivered quickly & with a friendly demeanour. The staff were helpful in explaining the menu & making good recommendations. The atmosphere was lively but not intrusive, it added to the experience. Go, you will not be disappointed!!

With fantastic soul food, fun people, and quick non-fussy service with a twist, the Cantina is a rare gem in Brussel's restaurant scene. Do try their lunch buffet, too, as homey as it gets, and the same excellent food preparation as for the a la carte menu. The jolly jungle interior vibe adds to the tasty food, too!

The very friendly waitperson is Brazilian, is fluent in English and French and explained everything as we came for lunch. A lunch buffet was offered with no a la carte. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. It was a bit expensive for big eaters, as they charged 19€ per plate. However, one can eat only one plate for an inexpensive lunch. We tried all the specialties and it was like being in Brasil. When in Brussels, we will certainly return. Highly recommended!

Great option if you are looking for typical Brazilian food, with some very good options and very tasty. The place is nicely decorated, very colorful and nice music. It only starts getting a bit loud when full, but this is not so bad as to avoid it. We went on a Tuesday night, opening time, but after 1 hour or so it started getting full, so maybe doing a reservation even earlier in the day is advisable if you want to arrive late at night. Access is very easy, 5 to 10 minute walk to the Grand Place and Mannekin Pis, so there are lots of options to get there avoiding car traffic. Recommended, worth a try.

Can wait to go back again , maybe tomorrow try another dish on the menu ! It worth the trip to Brussels just to prove the authenticity of flavors of the Brazilian culinary

My daughter and I had dinner in this restaurant and we found it really delightful. The clever and funky Brazilian kitsch in the decorations and furniture was very appealing, the music play list was just right and the food was very delicious. Highly recommended.
