9/10Service was top. The waiter was very kind and ready to help. The Frango com manga was superrrr tasty, but we expected more from the vegetarian plate (also only 1 option in the menu… and the banana was very dry).

10/10We had a really good evening. The food was great, very tasty and generous portions. The service was excellent, food being delivered quickly & with a friendly demeanour. The staff were helpful in explaining the menu & making good recommendations. The atmosphere was lively but not intrusive, it added to the experience. Go, you will not be disappointed!!

10/10With fantastic soul food, fun people, and quick non-fussy service with a twist, the Cantina is a rare gem in Brussel's restaurant scene. Do try their lunch buffet, too, as homey as it gets, and the same excellent food preparation as for the a la carte menu. The jolly jungle interior vibe adds to the tasty food, too!

10/10The very friendly waitperson is Brazilian, is fluent in English and French and explained everything as we came for lunch. A lunch buffet was offered with no a la carte. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. It was a bit expensive for big eaters, as they charged 19€ per plate. However, one can eat only one plate for an inexpensive lunch. We tried all the specialties and it was like being in Brasil. When in Brussels, we will certainly return. Highly recommended!

9/10Great option if you are looking for typical Brazilian food, with some very good options and very tasty. The place is nicely decorated, very colorful and nice music. It only starts getting a bit loud when full, but this is not so bad as to avoid it. We went on a Tuesday night, opening time, but after 1 hour or so it started getting full, so maybe doing a reservation even earlier in the day is advisable if you want to arrive late at night. Access is very easy, 5 to 10 minute walk to the Grand Place and Mannekin Pis, so there are lots of options to get there avoiding car traffic. Recommended, worth a try.

9.5/10My daughter and I had dinner in this restaurant and we found it really delightful. The clever and funky Brazilian kitsch in the decorations and furniture was very appealing, the music play list was just right and the food was very delicious. Highly recommended.

10/10What a lovely little find. Quirky decor, amazing food and friendly service. I came here a solo diner and sometimes that can be awkward, but the ambience of this restaurant put me immediately at ease. The staff were friendly without being too in your face, a perfect ballance. I would highly recommend the lunch buffet. It is a great chance to try a little of everything. Well worth twice what I paid for it.
