Great retro chic atmosphere, tasty vegetarian options, attentive multilingual service. We enjoyed a top notch fine dining experience at the Cantine of Cantine, and we will be back, possibly for a weekend stay over at the castle hotel!

The food was really good, and we enjoyed the beautiful place, but the service from the staff was surprisingly bad. We waited far too Long inbetween the courses, and the staff were not observant and openminded. Very dissapointing.

The food was extremely poor quality and some of the staff were unfriendly. The staff seemed stressed. I had food poisoning from my meal. Such a shame as the location is stunning.

Very nice establishment, friendly and efficient service, new menu which needs to be revised so that meat dishes are cooked to a better standard, and served hot. Pretty good tarte tatin aux ananas.

What a gem of a find (via Google looking for a restaurant near me ) while filling in time before a flight from Chambéry airport. The hotel and restaurant overlooks the town and the grounds are stunning. The food was delicious and the staff all friendly and professional. Will definitely return and consider Madame Vacance hotels to stay in if this is the standard this Group aspires to. Well done

Good food, very nice staff. Prices are okay, although they didn't know about how the yums reduction works, so we paid full price. But they're comprehensive, and proposed to help for a solution.

Most humiliating experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It was a beautiful sunny day, we called and confirmed if any places were available at the terrace, when we arrived the hostess told us we had to be inside even if there were other tables outside. I said I wouldn’t accept a table inside because we specifically reserved a table outside. She left my family and I waiting on the side of the bar and every new couple arriving that spoke French properly, were seated in the terrace before us. I finally complained with more seriousness with my rustic French and after she realized this was ridiculous she found us a table in the terrace under the strong midday sun with no protection…. And there we were left…. FOR A FULL HOUR in punishment for not taking the first table she offered us. This lady literally ignored us, serving children that arrived after us right by the table beside us and my kids didn’t even get a piece of bread before sitting and waiting for 1h!! When food finally came the adults were served first and the kids menu was finally served at 14:30, when we arrived at the restaurant at 13:00. The worst part is that it wasn’t bad service, it was unfair service. The speed of the service was regulated by how French you were, by how much testosterone was available in the group and how little you complained. As a foreign single mum of 2 starving kids under 10, I was not allowed any food before the full restaurant was serviced. Ridiculous.. I left the restaurant in tears ????????????

We had an excellent experience! A stunning location with incredible food. Everything was delicious and we look forward to coming back someday
