Wow! One of the best pizzas I've ever had! And the steak was excellent. The beer was good, what can I say, it was top notch. The staff was also very friendly and tried to answer my questions even though it was a bit slow and overwhelmed by the number of customers. Ambience ok, lots of customers, noise, but it was good. If I ever come back to Catania I will definitely stop by here again.

The food is good, but nothing special. We have choice only from two white wines. The chicken is low quality. The quantity of pasta is more than you can eat, but the quality is poor

Nice food, but bearing in mind we were booked in early and we were just about the only diners, none of the waiting staff approached us and asked if we had enjoyed our main, or were interested in asking if we wanted another drink, dessert or coffee. We likely would have but after waiting for so long, we eventually asked for the bill and left.

The restaurant was lovely, the rooftop patio was extra special and romantic. It set a really nice tone to the evening. The pizzas, both traditional crust and special crust, were fantastic. We had a local Sicilian wine with the meal which was well priced and quite good. The price of our meal including a shared appetizer, bottle of water and bottle of wine, and two pizzas, was very reasonable. Overall, a fabulous meal and would definitely recommend!

We ordered 2 entrecôtes, both medium-well. Both came out very dry and chewy, and one out of the two with lots of tendons and fat. We complained and they took the food back to the kitchen but they didn’t make any new. They argued they were out of meat (all on the menu) so we ordered a pizza (nduja) and chicken dish instead. The pizza was average, nothing extraordinary. The chicken dish was just a boring chicken salad. This place is not worth a visit!

It’s a very cute restaurant with great ambiance. We visited late at night so it wasn’t noisy, the staff was really friendly and we had a great time on their rooftop. Pizzas are excellent.

La Capannina Pizza Bistrot is an extremely high quality restaurant in terms of service, food quality and employees. However, the odors that occur due to the inadequacy of the place where it is located in terms of cleanliness (in the simplest definition of the Municipality of Catania here) reduce the score of such a nice restaurant. But the quality of the food and the products used was very evident. Attention, there is no free wifi in the establishment.

Lovely atmosphere, great food and very helpful staff. Yummy selection of new take on Sicilian classics- antipasto, pastas, burgers and focaccia. Definitely book though- it’s very popular.

+1Food and service was great ! The pizzas were so tasty , seriously one of the best I had in my life and we have a lot of pizza restaurants in Berlin . The staff was so friendly , attentive and helping us choosing the right dishes . I would 100% eat there again on my next Catania trip.

Great table service and great quality of food. Only negative was long delay paying the bill. Had to be authorised by the manager who was delayed in the kitchen. But would recommend the food.

Recommend food and place! We ordered starter, 2 pizzas and we didn’t had place for desert :( super positive owner and waiters!

Very good pizza, very rich pizza menu. Three star just for the table disposition and the acoustic, when it’s full it could be loud.

Pizza was very good with a thinner crust.. service excellent. Sidewalk dining area was very comfortable and provided heaters to maintain warmth even on a colder evening.

Pizzas are very good and rich. The io per terrace is a nice and fresh spot facing the Bellini garden and several beautiful trees bordering the street. The personnel was extremely kind and listened to our needs attentively. Very good price quality ratio.
