A greatly overrated restaurant with unreal prices even for Capri. We spent 111 Euro for a plate of spaghetti (38 Euro) tomatoes and cheese, anchovies (22 Euros) and two glasses of wine. This is Capri and I guess there are enough stupid tourists that they can get away with it. Reservations are hard to get and the restaurant was packed with people willing to pay the fare. Won’t be back.

The lamb was very good and we enjoyed a Sicilian bottle of wine. Service was fairly good, but not outstanding. Might be piggybacking on its old reputation a bit. Give it a try.

Loved the charming ambiance of the restaurant. The Escalope Capannina-style was excellent, and the Ravioli alla Caprese is a must-try! The highlight was definitely the Torta Caprese — absolutely the best. One of our group members was celebrating a birthday, and the staff surprised us by bringing out a dessert with a candle and singing Happy Birthday — such a thoughtful touch. Would definitely return if I visit Capri again!

The staff at as amazing! The food was amazing!!!! Antonio the one who runs the place family owned - since 1929- he was a sweet man - told us he married a New York woman very cool! Francesca was waitress as well. She was very sweet and smiling very happy person -her personality was contagious. Definitely get the Peppered Mussels and the Ravioli Caprese.

The service was exceptional. The lovely waitress catered to our every needed and nothing was an issue. They wanted to ensure Kate, Jaxy and I had a lovely evening. The food; especially the Signature Ravioli and the Grilled Beef and Parmigiana was also exceptional. This restaurant will not disappoint. Julian. London.

My husband and I have been to Capri twice, and each time, we dined La Campannina. The food is memorably good, the service at the table is first-class, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Only very very very slight issue: an older gentleman who seemed likely the owner (he’s in nearly every photo on the wall together with celebrity guests) stopped at every table in our dining room (there are at least 2 dining rooms) to ask if diners were pleased with everything, and if he could do anything for them — except for two tables, ours and another. The other was a table of four 20-somethings, who were inappropriately loud and who seemed to take multiple photos of every dish served them, sometimes leaving the table for a longer shot of all plates. I may have skipped that table too. But the other skipped table, ours, was a quiet middle-aged gay male couple who weren’t taking any photos. We love the restaurant so much that I want to believe that the gentleman’s skipping our table was inadvertent.
