Beautiful setting in the Tuscan countryside. The cook is so incredibly talented! The food was so delicious and exquisitely represented. Had the carpaccio to start which was so full of flavour and so creamy. Every dish had a little surprise with it, a little twist on the flavour profile. I had the quail and my husband had the terrina with chicory. Desert was honey pannacotta with lavender sorbet. All topped with a beautiful Brunello from Montalcino. This chef deserves all the accolades he has been receiving, definitely one of the best dinners we have ever had.

Delicious food, warm and friendly atmosphere, and a stunning view of the Tuscan hills and Montepulciano. A truly special place – highly recommended!

Excellent food and service. A really lovely restaurant with lovely views outside for a pre-dinner drink. Made to feel very welcome.

Most restaurants in Italy have very similar menus, varying slightly by region. La Chiusa is not at all like that. The chief has been there for less than a year and has been given license to be creative. We had an amazing meal! An example of the passion put into the preparation was the desert which paired white chocolate with olive oil. Absolutely incredible!

The service was excellent. Lauren did the best of everything in terms of service. The ambience is exceptional. The menu should include some traditional offerings. Sliced steak, pasta with standard ragu sauce. The trend in restaurants today is to prepare meals in an over the top sort of way (too complicated) more about architectural presentation than a more traditional (italian home cooking) style.

Beautiful terrace, a bit dated interior. The food is of great quality and unlike in many local restaurant a lot of attention goes into the presentation. Good price quality ratio.

A restaurant and hotel. The chef puts his own unique twist on traditional Tuscan dishes. Amazing views, great ambience. They also offer cooking courses.

Superb setting, staff and food . We had a wonderful evening and would recommend for a special occasion .
