The experience was excellent! A quiet room by a skating rink, with very helpful service (thanks to Bryan and Alhil for their recommendations and help) and amazing Raclette cheese! It is unforgettable.

We had a great experience at La Cloche a Fromage at Sofitel in Strasbourg. The waiter was very kind and helpful and opened a bottle of wine for us that was not really sold by the glass, but it was the red wine he recommended for the cheese we chose and thus he went the extra mile to get us two glasses. We were also allowed to try two different raclette cheeses. I think it’s the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant in France, and I would definitely recommend everyone going there. service was great, rooms was a bit lackluster, like a slightly elevated breakfast room, food presentation on the buffet was ok, but the whole thing just looked like a last minute effort to just bring in some hotel cash.

Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious. So happy we came to dinner here instead of la Cloche a fromage in town.... this was much nicer and we made a second reservation before we leave. Highly recommend :)))

The raclette experience is one not to be missed! Our family was divided as to whether the traditional or the Morbiere cheese was preferable, as we tried both. Located inside the sofitel hotel with a cute Christmas market on the square outside. A lovely dining experience for our family!

We booked a Raclette via thefork stating “Menu Raclette” 2pax 36.90. They charged x2 even if you order a raclette directly there is only 36.90. The ad is confusing, too expensive and very disappointed with this dark marketing, you’ve been warned.

Just the experience of trying Raclette was unusual and fun. our waiter, although he admitted to be being inexperienced, was very kind and made us feel welcome and at ease.
