10/10The service was friendly and the staff were accommodating in speaking English with me. The food was excellent and I liked the overall surroundings too, it's in a quiet street corner and the interior is welcoming and the image of quintessential quaint French. I'd definitely go again!

10/10This small restaurant is perfect for a quiet, intimate dining experience in Montmartre. The service is excellent as is the food, both delicious and beautifully plated. There are meat, fish and vegetarian menu choices and, unlike many of the local restaurants, the cuisine has a Mediterranean influence. I highly recommend La Couvee. You will not regret it!

7.5/10Great food, good prices, incredibly slow service. We waited 30 some minutes to clear our table and then after getting dessert menus 20 some more minutes before we gave up on dessert, we paid and left.

10/10This was one of the best and most memorable dining experiences of our life. My wife and I were visiting from the USA for New Year's and our first wedding anniversary. This is the cutest restaurant on a back street in Montmartre, near Pigalle - the holiday decorations made it feel very cozy. It was also not too busy on a Tuesday evening, so we were able to have a quiet meal. The food was incredible - we shared the escargot, steak, duck and shrimp plates, with creme brulee for dessert. The drinks were also super - we tried the old fashioned, red wine, limoncello and plum brandy. Our server, Tim, was very patient with our lack of French and ensured we had plenty of time to understand the menu. He made our night very enjoyable and special, including gifting us an ornament from their Christmas tree as a keepsake for our anniversary. The owner/chef Laurent also brought us a celebratory glass of champagne with our dessert. Thank you very much for everything!

7.5/10Food was good.. We were disappointed that the meal we went there for (the shoulder of lamb for two) was not included in the Fork discount on our reservation. There was no indication until we went to order that there were restrictions on what we could choose. It didn't make a great start to our experience here but we ordered the fillet of beef instead which was tasty and nicely presented. We found the lighting a bit bright for a relaxed atmosphere, but decor is very nice.

10/10The ambiance and service were excellent…..but were surpassed by the quality and flavor of our food choices . Our group enjoyed the cabillot and salmon tartare- well prepared, full of delicate flavors and served with elegantly prepared sides. Portion sizes were perfect. I may have found my new neighborhood favorite spot!

10/10Very charming restaurant in Montmarte. Menu is only in French and our waitress wasn't fluent in English but we managed to understand what everything was. Food was very good-- we regretted not ordering the lamb shoulder once we saw the tables around us eating it. Brioche and chocolate mousse for dessert were outstanding!

6/10I ordered asparagus to start with, a mix of both white and green. It arrived very very overcooked and without any bite to it at all. I explained the problem to the waiter. He was not believed by his manager who then came over to check, and and it went back to the kitchen and was exchanged for a new plate. That was also very overcooked. I sent that back too. The chef did not apologise or explain. The manager did not know how the food should be cooked, but they did take the cost off the bill without being asked. The main course of entrecote steak was cooked well and tasted good.

10/10Beautiful restaurant in Montemarte. Everything we had was fantastic…entrees we’re foie gras and green and white asparagus (2 separate dishes). Husband had the entrecôte and I had the cod. Both spectacular. Service impeccable…I love they can recommend two wines and let you try both. Beautiful setting. Not crazy expensive. Also you can order a large carte. AAAAA++++
