Food very average at best. Looking at pics on the reviews, these are clearly pics taken by the restaurant and didn’t reflect the quality of the food. Food undercooked & underwhelming and overpriced.

10/10 The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with their food recommendations. The white sangria was delicious. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was fast. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Alicante.

Our second visit to La Crispeta and the food and service were superb. The fact that the restaurant is always busy underlines how popular it is locally and with visitors to Alicante . A definite must visit but I suggest that you book on line.

The food was sublime especially the pulpo! Best pan de calatrava we’ve had. Yovana and Herman were our waiters and they were friendly, efficient and spoke really good English and were patient when we wanted to speak to them in Spanish. We went there on the recommendation of our daughter and her husband who told us it was fabulous - and they were right, it was perfect. Lovely ambience, fabulous food. We will definitely visit again!

Good food with excellent service. The waiters kindly spoke to us in English and were very attentive. A word of warning the "Tapas" plates are massive! We ordered 4 between 2 and it was way too much. I'd recommend going for 3 and ordering more if you're still hungry

Crispeta does not pretend to be a Michelin restaurant, it is a reasonable excellent value restaurant. Food quality and quantity is above it's price point, excellent friendly service. You come away very happy.

Oh my, the food was so good. It was plated beautifully and tasted even better! To top it off, it was so reasonably priced. We flew into Alicante @7pm and this place was close by our hotel. We liked it so much, we’ve already made reservations for the evening before we fly home!

This restaurant has a moderate price point and the food exceeds that expectation. Friendly informal atmosphere not presumptuous. Never feel rushed, even though service is quick. Nice to have in your eating place mix.

I was recommended this place. Not sure why. Food was good and service was fine. But one of the few places with no outside space and when we went in, had the rubbish truck outside. We also sat at a corner table tucked away with the extra chairs and cutlery behind us.

Not your stereotypical style of cooking. They do it their way and deliver first rate meals. Staff are all friendly and attentive. You can walk in but its best to book to avoid disappointment.
