8.5/10This is a solid “go to” place. The food is high quality and the service is great. It is not innovative and there really is nothing special about it. But for predictable meals with lots of choices it is great.

10/10Our visit to this restaurant to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary was made so special by all staff, but especially by Joshua who looked after us so well. We were seated by the window as requested and greeted with a lovely chilled glass of cava. We ordered our meal, enjoying Iberian ham, bread and mixed croquettes for our starter followed by a beautiful grilled monkfish, taken off the bone as personally requested. A bottle of chilled white wine made the perfect accompaniment. The dessert of soufflé was beautiful after which we received a complimentary Tiramisu, complete with a candle to complete the celebration of our special day. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Thank you Joshua!

3/10On arrival, the greeting was a little short of hostile particularly as they were unable initially to find our reservation. Their system was at fault and they finally found it. Things did not improve however and our waiter had little interest in either speaking to us or taking our order (I did note that a waiter serving another table was friendly and helpful to his guests). It was difficult to gain anything other than a perfunctory reaction throughout the whole sad experience. When the paella arrived that I had ordered I was stunned at how aweful it looked and how it tasted even worse. It was quite frankly disgusting. We paid the bill and left, writing it off to experience and undertook to treat ratings and reviews with extreme caution in future!

3.5/10The food was OK, not great. Quite touristy. And the service was quite bad. One of the wait staff was excellent, but he couldn't overcome the failings of his colleague.

5.5/10Paella was cold by the time it got to the table. Olives were heavily vinegared. Limited selection of tapas for a party member who couldn't eat paella. For a place advertising as specializing in rice, just not that special.

7/10The restaurant came highly recommended and in all fairness there was nothing wrong with it but it just felt a bit rushed and impersonal. The food was very good indeed but despite having three courses and coffee we were in and out in under 90 minutes.

10/10This was one of the best meals we have ever had!! What an amazing little gem! We had the fixed menu of tapas and paella and the amount of food was huge! The seafood was so fresh and everything was just perfect. The service was also great!! Absolutely perfect dinner!

10/10I don't understand why this is not the best rated restaurant in barcelona. This was a huge surprise considering that you find a lot of tourist traps nearby but this one is really special. We went for lunch and were welcomed by "Angelo" who showed us to a table for two by the window upstairs. What a special place! the decoration is very chic, you feel a sense of calmness sitting in this restaurant. The staff is extremely professional and are all smiles. Our waiter "Luis" should get a medal for best waiter in Spain really, he was nice, he pays attention to details, attentionate and with a contagious smile! Then, there's the food: we tried the tortilla (very tasty), the gambas with garlic (very good) and the paella (arrós cuina de laeitana) AMAZING!! By far the best paella I've had in quite sometime! For desserts, we had the crema catalana which I adored and the tiramisu. The tiramisu would've been perfect if the lady fingers were dipped a little longer in espresso (they were a little bit dry in the middle) and the mascarpone should be less runny. You really need to go visit this restaurant, it's a hardworking crew that should be congratulated for what they do!

8.5/10A cozy small restaurant along Via Laietena. Don't be shunned by the appearance of a touristic trap. It offers a good selection of tasty tapas, and juicy rice dishes, accompanied with a discrete selection of wines. The (only) waitress was super-efficient and nice.
