5/10The first conclusion was, as soon as I entered, that the restaurant belongs to the “tourist trap” category. The food was good, not bad, but nothing special and overpriced. Meatballs with red sauce, €22! The “chef’s sauce” was a supermarket teriyaki sauce. They inflated the weight of the steak. The waiter, the kind who pushes you towards the most expensive thing on the menu. I asked him about a €30 wine, he showed me a €60 one and then a €120 one!!! The restaurant is very expensive and I didn’t get anything special. I will definitely not go back. This is the first time I have neglected the positioning, it is in an area full of tourists, right next to the cathedral. A real tourist trap!

7.5/10The meal was ok but nothing special. They kept moving table’s around from some strange reason from one side of the restaurant to the other and my wife’s fillet was very undercooked. They did replace it but getting a fillet cooked right shouldn’t be difficult . By far the most expensive meal during our stay.

8/10When we first went in the staff didn’t seem to be interested. But once we ordered an expensive bottle of wine their attitude changed. My husband and I ordered the sliced steak because we are not big eaters. It tasted fine, but was too tough to eat. It has a fabulous location but I wouldn’t eat there again. We are accustomed to fine dining and this did not measure up.

From the moment we walked in, they completely took our breath away. Knowledge, warmth, attention to detail was superb. Our waiter was Rafael and he was amazing. It was my partners birthday and they made it very special for him, singing happy birthday. Thank you guys. The food was stunning, we had the Florentine steak, potatoes, salad which was delightful. Knowledge of wine and the support in choosing was second to none. The best experience we had in Florence xx

7.5/10The Florentine steak I ordered was way undercooked. I asked for medium rare and it was served rare, with some parts of the steak still cold. The steak was also far more expensive than expected...it cost 175 Euros.

5.5/10The food was nice! The view was nice, other than scaffolding on the cathedral. The seating was cramped. We are from the Uk, but were spoken to in Spanish. The service was not great. Server 1: After enquiring about prices the server reluctantly told us the steak price (which was way too big for 2 people and evidently he was trying to over sell) we said it was too much and he stopped serving us, handed us to an underling and threw the menus in the basket. Server 2 was okay; however he offered us what seemed to be lemoncella as a gratuity, and then charged us! Views were good; however drain smells were apparent and road cleaning machine was very close to where we were seated. Overall, I was expecting a lot more. I apologise for looking Spanish as it seemed to be a problem for some people. I am of mixed heritage; but this may be an anomaly in Italy. The spinach was delicious!
