The restaurant looks pretty from the street. The food was very good but not brought out when we asked or in the order we asked. We felt very cramped at our table with a box of menus taking up one of the seats ( there were 3 of us). We felt rushed to order. It may have just been an off night. The food was very good. We were dissappointed. The waitstaff seemed stressed.

The server and the owner were so kind and friendly ! The experience had such a great atmosphere ! The food was delicious - appetizers - pear bruschetta and cheese plate so good. We enjoyed our meals and desert as well!

Great service and an interesting menu with Roman pasta classics as well as traditional offal dishes, and meat dishes. My meat balls were delicious, and the roast beef with mushrooms and fontina cheese was perfectly cooked.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and so tasty. The tiramisu was a bit sweet for us, but didn't ruin how much we enjoyed our visit. It was also excellent value for money.

Unfortunately we only discovered it for our last evening in Rome. We loved the space, the food was excellent, and so was the service. We were very impressed.

Entirely happy with our dining experience: made to feel very welcome on arrival, great menu and wine list, excellent service, superb food and convivial atmosphere. Clearly well patronised and appreciated by local diners. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service and very welcoming and helpful staff, especially with local wine selection. The food was excellent -pasta was superbly cooked with so much flavour. The chosen wine complimented things very well and all added to a very pleasant evening. Visited here 4 years ago and had a similar experience and very happy to see things are still as good!

We were referred to this charming restaurant from someone who lives locally. It was one of our favorite meals of our week in Rome. The staff were attentive but not hovering, helpful and cheerful. The food was traditional but with a twist and definitely elevated.

Small family run restaurant that had been established for many years, my son went there 8 years ago and loved it and recommended it to me for my visit to Rome. Went there twice and had lovely food with super friendly service, highly recommended.

No black truffle, no veal carpaccio. Picahna was hard. Try booking earlier than 8pm to have everything available.

Unbelievably good food, service and ambiance. The portions were unexpectedly big, we found out that our wonderful waitress was also the chef. We literally wanted to kiss her hands! Super recommended!

We were getting tired of pizza and pasta (tourist package replicated from restaurant to restaurant) and so we looked for something different. La dispensa dei Mellini was terrific. Note that there's traffic if you're sitting outside, but it was well worth it for us. The food was special and affordable and the staff warm and friendly (without overdoing it). Would definitely go back next time we'll be in Rome.

Excellent meal and good value for the price. Location is a bit noisy but otherwise quaint. Glad we ate here.

The food was eclectic yet traditional. We enjoyed our table outside, the service was exceptional. Lovely wine and food, highly recommend. The ambience was fabulous, away from tourists in Rome.
